Sorted it out in the end with a simple video call to the company showing my passport.

I came across these automatic polythene toilet seat covers, mainly at airports, when I was living in the States. Americans seem fixated with toilet seats and germs in public toilets. They would often place bog paper all around the seat (and leave it there) so I suppose this gizmo was inevitable

That's true. They are a London company, so may try and find a local Brighton company where I can just turn up with the docs. Just don't like the idea of docs like that being in the hands of third parties

I wanted some taxation advice from an accountant. They asked for a copy of my passport and a utility bill as proof of ID. Seems pretty standard so far to comply with anti money laundering laws. I sent them copies of the documents and they are now requesting an additional ID check which involves...

Bringing his books to the stage doesn't seem any more successful. I watched "Picture you Dead" at the Theatre Royal and it had some of the worse over acting I had seen for a while.
