I was very close to booing - I thought the second half was disgraceful and for the players to run out of steam and seemingly motivation after their lovely reward of holidays since the Palace debacle was unforgiveable. In the end, I just shuffled out muttering cos that'll teach them.

Rarely would it have been more deserved. But boos usually come out of frustration, not disappointment. And give we didn't do anything for the last 25 minutes there wasn't a whole lot to be frustrated about. Just a quiet numbness.

It was a performance that warranted a boo, if one is so inclined.


For clarity, in the past fortnight we have thrown away opportunities for a cup semi-final, a tilt at Champuons league, a 90 year record of not being beaten twice in the league by Palace and finally a chance of European football.

A very very poor return.

Can see plenty of reasons to boo.

Yes 100%, first time at The Amex, that was absolute garbage, void of quality. Yes, we’ve played worse under other managers, but my expectations were lower. Very few put in a satisfactory performance.

There was very little to be positive about IMO (apart from Baleba, and that weakened the midfield).

We all know that this season there is a definite opportunity for glory.

The premier league is wide open in a way that rarely happens.

There are plenty of teams acutely aware of this and looking to take advantage.

For a brief period we looked like we were at the top of that list.

We've properly blown that now.

I get that, and agree, it's been a yo-yo patchy season and were doing well . . . . . . . But a group of 'professionals' have just cost Uncle Tony a few million pounds this week . . .they performed like a still pissed Sunday league team.

No offence to any still pissed Sunday league Teams ever (or tomorrow!) . . . Many of us have been there, and at least we tried playing as a team.
