[TV] Netflix - What's good to watch?

Just watched Carry On with Taron Egerton and Jason Bateman. Quite good fun for a holiday film perhaps trying a bit too hard to be another Mission Impossible. Although I did keep expecting the villain to say "Infamy, infamy - they've all got it in for me" .................I'll get my coat

[TV] The Day of the Jackal Sky Atlantic

I've just watched the final episode (no spoilers) and thought the whole series was very good. There will be the inevitable comparisons with the film and Edward Fox but I think both stand on their own and as such can be enjoyed separately

    [Film] Greatest sci fi films

Source Code is a great film. I like the idea of being able to go back in time multiple times and learn from your mistakes until you get it right. Also liked the bit when he gets the really uptight stand up comic to do his routine in front of the passengers

[Travel] Train disruption Tonight (Cup versus Liverpool)

How easy is it to take bike pump and lights (the stuff that could get nicked) into the ground in a small bag. Don't really want to pay 7.50 to leave at the bag drop

    [Film] Film 2024

I was looking forward to seeing Conclave which was supposed to be released at Brighton Cineworld tomorrow but it has now disappeared without trace which seems a bit weird. Must be the subject matter I guess

    [Politics] Assisted dying

This is what happened with my Mother with the consent of my brother and myself, and if my Mother could have spoken she would have agreed to it as well

    [Misc] Things that go together

Peanut butter and jelly sandwich - the great American comfort food. Must be doing record sales at the moment.

    [Politics] Donald Trump, US President

I saw a comment saying many Democrats are regretting taking the high moral ground and going with Michelle Obama's comment "When they go low we go high" They may as well have put forward a degenerate, intellectually challenged, hamburger eating ejjit and perhaps they would have won - what a sad...
