And my dad who took me to the Goldstone in 1967 bless him....
...to see bloody middlesbrough mind, but bless him anyway!
No problem for team and fans I would have thought - flooding was pretty localised and mainly due to blocked drains.
I am now on a train to Brighton just coming in to Balcombe having taken nearly 3 hours to get here!
Working in an office in Fulham...
...sccoping up water from the ground floor.
Given up now - it's a losing battle. Nowhere for the water to go...
Now I'll try to get home to Brighton on the train - could be "fun".
Albion v Bognor latest: 4-0 Loft scores
By Tom Gurney
Andrew Whing made his first start since joining Albion on a permanent basis in tonight's friendly at Bognor.
The summer signing missed the opening friendly win at Worthing on Saturday due to a virus but lined-up at right-back at Nyewood...
And THAT was my first Albion game!! :clap2::clap2::clap2:
Not that I supported them then - my dad cam from Middlesbrough and I lived in Crawley.
Bloody hell - 40 years ago, and my dad (RIP) was younger than I am now...
*stares into space*
I had to deal with a woman from Sweden once called Lovisa Wanker.
And I'll never understand why a woman called Bridget took her husbands name when they married. He was John Fidgett.
Why how very kind - thank you.
No cake at NSC, and it seems no cake in real life....

:drink::whisky::drink::whisky::drink::cheers:
We weren't exactlydead and buried, but my heart certainly sunk when Millwall scored against us at home in the play-off semi-final 1991. But the next 15 minutes or so (give or take a 15 minute break at half time) soon put me in better spirits.
