[Politics] Protests/rioting in lots of places

I'm not talking about the time to build a case against them, I'm talking about him being sentenced to 10 weeks in prison but is able to get an appeal heard at crown court 3 days later where the sentence is reduced and he walks free.

[Politics] Protests/rioting in lots of places

Does a guilty plea affect the length of time between sentence and appeal then ?, If so then I wasn't aware of that.

Visibly it seems a long time to have to wait for it to go to court as is Ricky Jones long awaited trial. Mike Amesbury however can get sentenced, appeal and released by a crown court judge within 3 days.

    [News] Nigel Farage and Reform

No point discussing any further with you then. I prefer to think of the victims and the potential future victims rather than some nonces human rights foreign or otherwise.

    [News] Nigel Farage and Reform

Yes. They see the governments of whatever flavour not changing the justice system correctly to address these issues. It's not just a simple "results they don't like" that's churlish. As for due process under ECHR I guess that's where our opinions differ. For me his Human Rights ended the moment...

    [Albion] Joao Pedro Brazilian Maestro

He's a magical player on his day but I'd much rather we kept JPVH long term. £50m is dreadfully low unless Colwill is thrown in for good measure.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14734579/Pakistani-paedophile-teenage-girl-UK-fatwa.html - This is why more and more people are looking at reform. Whether they would actually do anything different is another matter.

This but with a plethora of minor injuries that will be healed in 2 weeks.

[Politics] Protests/rioting in lots of places

We can all come up with examples one way or another. One would be the same judge that refused this appeal is the same one that allowed an appeal for Labour Peer Nazir Ahmed for attempted rape of a minor to a lower sentence than Connolly received. That said I agree that the JSO sentences are too...

    [Politics] Brexit

90 days/6 months, it's the same premise but you're as always choosing to nit pick and post another emoji. So why then if it's cheaper to operate e-gates are the EU pushing the UK visitors through the manned posts, are you saying they enjoy wasting money ?. Why would they force us through...

    [Politics] Brexit

The same rule as we have for EU citizens visiting the UK but that we don't push them into the rest of the world queue. Courtesy I would call it but of course you have a totally different agenda and always after an excuse to post some more pointless emojis.

You mean like we still do in the UK ?

    [Politics] Brexit

I hope the deal is positive, I don't really know enough about the fishing industry to really comment. The passport issue though was always a dick move by the EU to force UK to use "Other nationalities" queue, they didn't HAVE to do it but chose to.

[Albion] Thoughts, hopes, expectations and predictions about next season / summer transfer window?

A huge number of decisions lie ahead in terms of who stays/goes/loans and that's without the inevitable unwanted bids for our top performers. Lamptey, Enciso, Sarmiento, Webster, Steele, Milner, Adingra, Sima, Cozier-Duberry, Yalcouye, Buonanotte, Mazilu, Osman, Rushworth/McGill/Scherpen &...
