I think it was Wednesday night on BBC 2.

Ah well. Thoughts and prayers at this difficult time for you.

[Brighton] We need to fix this

Here you go, it's shown on THIS Google map: https://support.google.com/maps/thread/21866975/what-determines-the-prominence-of-a-city-in-google-maps-uk?hl=en Hope that makes you feel better

    [Misc] Electric Cars

'Best' is subjective (clearly it's not the safest method of driving!), but it can work if you're looking to maximise efficiency, yes.

    [Albion] Diego Coppola (Italian CB)

When asked, a musical group that loves performing songs without any instruments said they were delighted we were in for A COPPOLA. :moo:

    [Albion] Joao Pedro Brazilian Maestro

FWIW, Troy Deeney (I know, I know, but bear with me) was SIGNING his praises on this week's edition of the official pod. Not just as a player, but as a human being – saying that the two of them had a nice chat before a game a few weeks previously and Joao Pedro was asking about TD and his...

    Official Running Thread

Not sure if anyone else is aware of this guy, but I've been following him since he first started running a mile a day last year. Marcus is truly inspirational and now a record-holder and has raised over £100k. Amazing. There's a documentary coming soon too, apparently...

Did they? I never knew that.

[Albion] Aston Villa to include women's games for loyalty points

The 'imo' bit is key though. Because it WILL be seen as unfair 'iopo'* *in other people's opinions

    [Politics] Donald Trump, US President

Nor me. Mine was a very crude, quick and general request. With a bit of fine-tuning by someone with the time and will to be bothered, they could get it spot on. I think you can spot to genuine Trump 'Truths' by the typos!

    [Politics] Donald Trump, US President

My experiment – under the instruction 'Write a very very long tweet in the style of Donald Trump ranting about tariffs being banned' even does that for you. And it KNOWS it's doing it, too: "ChatGPT said: Sure! Here's an extra-long, highly stylized tweet in Donald Trump's ranting tone...

    [Misc] Electric Cars

Yes, deffo speed, but also I would think the first bit of the journey would be hampered because the battery is cold, so needs to work harder. Hence why a lot of cars now have pre-conditioning. It's funny because a lot of people will say they want to get home as fast as possible, even if they...

    [Politics] Donald Trump, US President

I've no evidence for this conclusion, but surely there's no way he (or possibly anyone else) is thinking of all of that, let alone typing it all out, so it's gotta be ChatGPT, right? I just attempted it and it wasn't bad: "The radical lunatics and globalist puppets in Washington want to BAN...

    [Albion] Olivier Boscagli

Ah the classic NSC trope of writing a player off after five minutes (not a literal five minutes, of course) :lolol:

[Albion] Aston Villa to include women's games for loyalty points

But one that will be deemed 'woke', 'unfair' and 'just another example of how this country is being destroyed', by a certain section of society soon enough. If not already.

[Albion] Own up, who did this ?

Sorry to be a PENDANT, but all summers are typically the same length. Certainly, any variation in them wouldn't be enough to make one 'very long' compared with the others. 'THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION ON THIS MATTER!'

I thought it was quite funny!

[News] “Fare dodgers. Bike thieves. Shoplifters. Weird Turkish barber shops…. It’s all chipping away at society”

I'm not sure how that answers the question. There was clearly loads of petty crime (including not paying for stuff) back in the day. And worse, when you think of gangs, the underworld and a load of wrong'uns. People probably only knew a fraction of the bad shit that went on. That tweet just...

[News] “Fare dodgers. Bike thieves. Shoplifters. Weird Turkish barber shops…. It’s all chipping away at society”

Is it really THAT much worse than it was back in the 'good old days'? Or do we just know more about it because of social media coverage, technology (cameras and videos on every phone) and 'more people*, more problems'? *I'm talking about general population increase, not an immigration thing.
