    [Albion] Matthew Hoppe

Mentioned by one Albion account on Twitter, but alleged interest in this chap. He does seem to fit the bill. 20 years old, scored goals for Schalke in a poor team. It's a yes from me

    [Other Sport] Andy Fordham

Legend of a darts player, dead at 59. He was enormous in his hey day, but lost a lot of it apparently.

    [Football] Increase in Squad Value

I was thinking about how the value of the squad has increased since the start of this season, with many players soaring in value: White was worth £25m, must now be £40m Lamptey hadn't played much, so maybe a few million back then... now being talked about at £50m Bissouma was probaly a £20m...

[Albion] Albion Players Born this Century

Am I right in thinking that Aaron Connolly is the first Albion player to appear in the Premier League born in the 2000's? Anyone else?

[News] Woman indicted for manslaughter for being shot in the stomach

This is unbelievable. She was pregnant, was shot in the stomach, and is now indicted for the manslaughter of her unborn baby. Guess which country https://www.al.com/news/birmingham/2019/06/woman-indicted-in-shooting-death-of-her-unborn-child-charges-against-shooter-dismissed.html

    Vilia 1847 Lounge

Just booked 4 tickets in the 1847 lounge (£102) each for the Villa game. I was told that at least 40 Albion have already booked in. Any one here going? Given it's no colours or fancy dress, I'm thinking we should go in Black Tie

    So Easter Monday...

Even if we lose at Wolves and Huddersfield beat Preston, we could still tie up promotion on Easter Monday. Beat Wigan and wait for Derby to beat Huddersfield in the 5pm kick off. So will the Concourse remain open for the whole of the latter game? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Anyone else in love with Hughton's double fist pump celebrations after each goal? Textbook effort that makes him look cool.

How can a goal be scored?

Edna harshly claimed tonight on Facebook that Sidwell "poked" the ball home. The Argus suggested he "struck". Simster believes he "rifled" home, while it could be said he "placed" it. So what other ways can a goal be scored? Dunk headed home, or did he glance it in?

NFL-style draft youth system considered by Scottish football

What's your view on this? I've said for a while that the Premier League should be encouraged to use the high-quality nature of the Championship, and this could well be one way to do it. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/35368472
