Well it was almost the perfect scenario/season but unfortunately Palarse's win against Man Ure yesterday stopped us topping this season's table of results against the Big 6. Still, from watching the Hereford replay a couple of weeks ago to seeing us now 25 years on defo gives a lump in the...
If this is the last season for Pascal at least he can leave with the honour of scoring our 100th home Premier League goal (currently now 101). Congrats Pascal.
He's also scored a quarter of his 16 Prem goals against Man Utd and behind West Ham with 17 goals, Man U are the team we've scored the...
After updating my Statto spreadsheets last night I noticed that Lukaku's goal we conceded was the100th goal v the Big 6 since our arrival in the Premier League in our 52nd match against this group. Comparing against the other Clubs who we have been in the Division for the same amount of time...
Just for us statto nerds - Anthony Taylor refereed us for the 9th time in the Premier League and we haven't lost any of them (W2 D7). Andy Madley (P4 W2 D2) and Peter Bankes (P2 W1 D1) are the only other 2 refs in which we've not lost either when they've been in charge.
We went a fourth league...
We all know we haven't been exactly prolific on the road this season but noticed a very desperate stat after last night's game. We have only scored two goals in the 2nd half of Prem games this season and the only one from open play was Solly's header against Bournemouth back in September (the...
Daily dull stat attack for most but hopefully interesting for the anoraks!
Last night was BHA's 4000th regular season league game! W1564, D1040, L1396, F5689 A5301.
The splits while at the various grounds:
Goldstone - Pld 3068, W1209, D769, L1090, F4525, A4238
Priestfield - Pld 92, W22, D24...
Hi all, can anyone advise how it's best to get in contact with Darren as my daughter has been subjected to the most vile homophobic abuse from a supposed Brighton supporter via the Brighton Fans facebook group! He's also posted some other general anti gay/Aids related comments aimed at I guess...
Not sure if this was noted by anyone, so apologies if so, but Tuesday marked another super stat/landmark - Chris' 1000th day in charge of the Mighty Seagulls! Here's to many more.
Here's one for all you number nerds… (just me??), at the start of the season there were a possible 494 W-D-L final table combinations that would see us reach the perceived Holy Grail of Prem safety of at least 40 points.
After the first 6 games we still have 363 ways of reaching the landmark...
Hi, is there anywhere on the BHA website where the away attendances are listed. Used to be able to find the info in the twitter links but I can't find them this season. Can you direct me to them or post what the Man. City and Barnet away attendances were please?
Murray's strike in the 2nd minute was the 100th goal we have scored in the South goal. Useless fact but a memorable stat! For the record we've scored 140 in the North goal.
After tonight's game a couple of Amex records were broken/created. It is the first time we've won 6 consecutive games (inc. Cup matches), 5 consecutive League wins. We've now equaled our longest run of 11 undefeated games for the third time (hopefully not the kiss of death with this one!) and...
Useless trivia but a milestone worthy of note - yesterday was our 500th league victory on the road out of the 1982 we have played (W 500, D 541, L 941).
Can anyone guess what happened tonight for the first time in the last 161 BHA games which is probably a Club record and I would hazard a guess at being an English football record as well?
Just another quick useless stat but with us banging in goals for fun at home recently let's celebrate the fact that tonight's 4th by Knocky was the Club's 3,500th goal scored at home in all League games played, coming from a total of 1970 matches :clap2::clap2:
Updating my results database tonight and came across the fact that Kayal's goal was the 100th Brighton goal scored at the North End and Bolton's second was only the 3rd goal we have conceded in the second half at the Home of Football this season. Also we haven't scored a penalty at home since...
Today was only the 9th time out of the 113 we have played at The Amex that we have attacked the North goal in the 1st half, and the MK Dons game will be the 100th League game (excluding the 2 Play-Off games). (I had to find a stat as boring as today's game!)
