I think Tony will now be hoping for a trophy within next 3-5 seasons.
Trophies are harder as they do require an element of luck at times, but I think it’s a reasonable target.
As the years go by, I lean more and more on a comment Frank Skinner made on his podcast/radio show that he'd prefer to ask someone a question even if the answer is imperfect, than cut out the human interaction to use Google.
There's something I like about that.
We have been slowly trying to collect the 2014 England WC Squad with our veterans - Lallana, Milner, Welbeck - yup, Sterling will be on the way soon.
What's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain doing nowadays?
MODS - please merge @El Presidente 's silly JCL thread with this, the true and proper annual thread about annual threads.
(uh oh, just realised he's a bloody mod int he)
Looks really tough for the 3 promoted sides.
There is reason to believe all of the following COULD improve on this season's showing;
West Ham
Everton
Man Utd
Spurs
Wolves
I could see one of Fulham, Bournemouth, Brentford struggling more.
Will never LIKE them as a club but will always feel a small amount of debt to the fact that Burnley - already promoted with nothing to play for - turned into prime AC Milan defensively that day. They withstood an absolute barrage from Reading.
What chance do you give yourselves? From the outside it feels like a bit of a tailing off after really high performance levels all season, is that fair to say? What's the mood around Forest atm?
@Giraffe - if we actually BEAT the Europe tracker points wise but fail to qualify, would that make you rethink what the points target on the Europe track should be?
