Are Middlesbrough receiving parachute payments still? Don't think so, yet they seem to be able to attract decent players that can play at this level, and you could argue that their revenue streams (crowds in particular) are nowhere near ours.

Blimey I knew we had been pretty shite in October for a while but is it really that long? We're going to start coining the 'Shocktober' phrase if we do win a game before the end of the month!
Out of interest, who was it that we beat?
The club should be more concerned with getting the supporters through the gates for the football than the 'match day experience' right now. Our visitors yesterday know only too well what can happen to attendances when the football on offer is not up to scratch.
What I do find interesting about playing budgets etc is that apparently we didn't 'need' to sell Ulloa, yet Barber in his War and Peace dictats yesterday admitted that player sales were being used to shore up the losses?
So which is it, Ulloa did really have to be sold, and we couldn't afford...
Well there is the question. An ability to communicate and write articulate column inches does not make one an excellent leader.
Besides, the catering is sub-contracted, so he can only 'feed back' issues and threaten penalties etc. Leadership is an entirely different question altogether.
I did do some work for AITC a little while ago, and yes the similarities between what the stuff at Vancouver apparently thought of him, and what the current employees (well those there at the time) generally think / thought of him are, shall we say, interesting.
But my opinions of him are well...
It's quite right though, if QPR are going to play in the Championship next season (which is the only league they will be eligible for), it is going to cost somebody in thier boardroom a disgusting amount of money.
Or, FFP will be shown up as an irrelevant, unlawful and useless piece of paper...
Thats the one...i didnt realise it was Hayling Island..i thought it was IOW for some reason...I thought the weekend was an epic shagfest personally. Dont think they tried anything like that again haha.
No the quote thing f***ed up, it was definately the IOW..!! Don't remember too much about...
Don't know if you are talking about the same weekend but I was on one of those. Can't temem what year it was but it was called 'putting people first'! Awesome times!
Amex weekend at Hayling Island:rolleyes:
I would be absolutely amazed if the club ever considered bringing the catering 'in-house'. It will almost certainly be totally cost in-effective, and there is no guarantee the product and experience would be any better than these so-called experts. It really would be a massive gamble.
Nobody...
I know it's not 'your' problem but that's a really lazy response.
The club can kick the caterers arse as much as they like. If the club are to be believed and they do read social media as much as they claim they do, then there are plenty of complaints on here to justify the metaphorical arse...
