I see Adam Eckersley (LB) has been released by Port Vale - Wilkins had been after him earlier in the season, when Matt Richards went back to Ipswich. He may be an option if we can't get Richards on a permanent deal.
I think Darren Currie still has something to offer, but fear it may be a season too late for him to come now. In the last January transfer window, it looked like he was the 3rd choice behind Leven & Martin.
Matt Spring is the one Luton player I'd be excited about coming here.
Published 2000 or 2001. Covers up to his retirement from the game with Red Star Paris or something or other. Think it's still readily available in the shops.
Tony Cascarino's "Full Time" is a good read. Very honest & funny, interesting to read about a journeyman player who took a lot of stick from his own fans.
They can play what they like, as long as they don't RUIN "Abide With Me" again by drowning out the fans with some crappy, oversinging opera fool. Completely spoils one of the highlights of Cup Final day for me.

Agreed, but the implication was that we'd already got players lined up and ready to come in. Which, if true, is excellent news & a real change from the past few seasons.
On the phone-in last night, there were several mentions of comments that Barry Lloyd had made, which indicated that there was going to be a big turnover of players in the summer. Does anyone know where this came from & what was said?
A good friend of mine, who is a veteran of these sorts of European forays & has similar requirements, rates Krakow very highly indeed.
Cheap as chips apparently & everything is based around one big square.
