JPvH has been outstanding at Championship level.
Of course, it's a massive step up to the PL, but what he offers is an all-round game, and a superb attitude.
He is very comfortable with the ball at his feet, and he has a decent turn of pace. He will also throw himself in...
Khadra had a tight hamstring. We (at Blackburn) are hoping he's fit again for the Swansea match.
(Incidentally, I noticed that you are Gloucester-based. I live in New Zealand now, but Gloucester is my home town. Don't ask why I support Blackburn. It's a long story!)
As a Blackburn Rovers supporter, can I just say you can't have van Hecke back early!
We'd love to sign him permanently, but I imagine your management-team will decide that getting so much experience in the Championship is just what he needs.
I accept it's a huge step-up to the PL, but I really...

A sale is not impossible, actually, but it would definitely have to be 20 million plus (or a deal involving van Hecke and Khadra).
Nobody wants to lose him and several people on this site have mentioned that Rovers would be daft to sell someone who might help them to...
The other thing about him is that he's a real crowd-pleaser. He really busts a gut, and we have seen a couple of end-to-end runs from him.
He's a favourite at Ewood already.
If only it was that simple. The whole contract and transfer business these days is like some complex, arcane game. (Herman Hesse - step forward!). And I think the agents make up the rules.
Would your club accept 2.5 million plus add-ons for him?
We'll only have that kind of money if Brereton...
You're not having JP van Hecke back! He's under house-arrest in Blackburn.
Khadra wasn't quite so effective today, showing a tendency to run up blind alleys, but JP was brilliant.
He's a natural leader too. I reckon he'll be worth eight-to-ten million, this time next year.
I realise there's a...
I'm suspicious!
It's strange. For a couple of games, Khadra just looked like a headless chicken, but he has been top-notch in his last few appearances.
As for van Hecke, he had a mad moment against Fulham, but he's a proper centre-half who also appears remarkably comfortable on the ball for...

To be honest, No. 9 has not looked to be his best spot so far. He's less comfortable with his back to the goal.
Running at defenders from just outside the box is his greatest strength, especially from a left-central position.
He did score a cracking header last week, though.
He's actually quite unusual. He looks like he has two left feet at times, when he's running, but he usually seems to come out of a tackle with the ball at his feet, still.
It has taken quite a while for him to fulfil his promise, but he is scoring instinctively now.
We don't want to lose him...

This is the deal: you can have Ben for 20 million, as long as you throw in Khadra and van Hecke.
They've been absolute rubbish  but we're very generous in the North-West.
