Disappointed for Sussex/Surrey sides in the National League South play offs but does mean some tasty games for Horsham next season.

[Finance] Premium Bonds - prize pool increased again - you ever have any luck?

Just googled Yahoo Finance and the PB pot in May 24 was £453m. In May 25 £413m. NS&I has lowered the prize fund rate from 4.4% to 4% and then to 3.8%. However, the odds of any single bond winning a prize remain at 22,000 to one as NS&I has increased the number of £25 prizes to offset the...

[NSC] How much do you spend on SUNGLASSES ?

Always used clip ons but had a change in eye prescription recently. Signed up for Vision Express Care Plan as one off payment too prohibitive. It spreads cost over 24 months. Yes, yet another direct debit for the collection. Went for Ray Ban clear glasses and Oakley sun glasses, both...

[Football] The Non-League Football Thread- 2024/25 Edition

Looking forward to taking in some Horsham home games next season and seeing how they do. Just on the pedigree of clubs you’d definitely choose National League North, stuffed with ex football league clubs, to provide more attractive fixtures. Unfortunately, play off slip ups will provide...

[Football] Stay classy Crawley- and if Crawley Town FC were a dish?????????????

Have to say that I really enjoyed watching Crawley when their L1 matches were on sky sports+. It was like watching a game of bagatelle, very entertaining, but in fairness they did play some terrific football at times.

    [Football] Wrexham

If record transfers are anything to go by Birmingham spent £15 million on Jay Stansfield, Wycombe 800k on Magnus Westergaard and Wrexham £600k on Sam Smith.

Were you on the naughty step even though you sold?

[Albion] The Ticket Exchange - what's the point?

Must be unusual for a 3pm Saturday EPL at the Albion not to have sold out by now. Overheard a couple of West Ham saying they normally go to the Amex but not bothering this time as they’re crap. I think Apathy might win this one.

[Football] The Non-League Football Thread- 2024/25 Edition

Nervy Horsham performance. Bognor were well up for it and for periods of the game it was hard to tell who were the promotion chasing team. Horsham will be glad to get back on a 3G pitch next week. Dartford slipping up has set it up brilliantly.
