The responses were a reminder of what X has become and was the prompt to opening a BlueSky account. BS feels a bit pleasantly barren. Early days.
Not sure on the source and credibility (there’s quite a bit on the internet) but lends itself to someone being lucky to have good entrepreneurial genes (In part!). https://executiveacademy.at/en/news/detail/the-discovery-of-the-entrepreneurship-gene/
Fortunately, we’re in a society where we can choose to be hard working or not. Hard work doesn’t equate to success (long hours at low pay rates) but it seems logical that it is more likely to lead to success and rewards than being work shy. The system is geared more to putting yourself in a...

A couple of blow outs last week. Not too bad. November not the best month of the year. Short days, in doors a lot etc. Atleast kept weight off.
It’s certainly one to keep an eye on. The £110 deal I agreed was not confirmed in writing and did not resemble future bill charges. There was a big overcharge. May have been a genuine over sight but I wasn’t going to take the chance. I put in a couple of complaints over the past 2 days and...
Current package ; Signature / Netflix (without ads)/ Cinema (incl paramount +) / Hd / multi screen/ superfast BB. This was costing £103.50/mth. Discounts ending was going to take it to £133/mth so had to take action.
Had the dance with Sky. Used Eetv/bb as leverage. Resulted in getting...
Just been doing further research. BT tv is now EE tv. It looks mainly like a streaming service with a small box with hard disk to atleast record programmes. It doesn’t look as integrated as Sky Q. I would consider Now tv directly but seems a compatibility issue with Panasonic tvs. My...
Agree that the left/right divide is being broken. I came across the term ‘diagonalists’ a while back which highlighted the coming together of disparate groupings. Plenty on it on t’Internet.
“Everybody has their own individual weight set-point – the weight that your brain wants you to be. If you’re lucky, your weight set-point is in the normal range.” Dr Andrew Jenkinson. I read this authors book Why We Eat Too Much a couple of years ago. This and a book by Chris van Tullekin...
Thinking of moving from Sky tv/broadband (Sky Q box) to BT package Full Works + Fibre 1. The latter includes all the main Sky stuff we use plus sports for the same money. Any one transferred over to BT ? Just checking for any pit falls.
Only caught snippets of this when on R4 this morning but sounded really interesting.

Need a bit of help here. I’ve got family members who seem to turn everything in to politics. Just general, easy going conversations within minutes turn in to a comment that supports their political view. It’s usually opinion based with no evidence. Their obsession is getting on my...
