Sacre Coeur is worth a visit and you can pay to go up the towers inside and you get some great views of Paris. If you like relics they have plenty in the crypt there too.
The Catacombs are fascinating but not for the squeamish. In the 18th centuary they reburied millions of people in some old...
Unfortunatley Doctors don't assess people's ability to work, Atos, a French IT company, do. And they're frequently been getting it wrong (over 100,00 cases turned over on appeal in 3 years)
Take your own picnic and don't think the dress code is optional, I've seen a lot of very self conscious men walking around in lounge suits in previous years. Enjoy though, it's fun!
Shocking if true, esp. after the Hove Cricket Ground stopped serving Harveys and now serves the swill otherwise known as Green King. We should have local beer, I don't care which brewery (much, I'm a Hophead girl) but I suspect that only Harveys has the capacity to produce enough for match...
My two, runty little black cat Kinky and her chunky sister Rambam. A couple of Essex girls but we don't hold that against them. Rambam loves watching the Football League Show on the laptop in bed on Sunday mornings
Could also be that the character of Lowland malts is a cleaner, more floral one meaning the heavy notes that flavour other malts need to be distilled out. The late lamented Rosebank was also triple distilled.
Waitrose usually stock a whisky called A'Bunadh from the Aberlour distillery. It's sherry cask and made in the style of a 1930s bottle of whisky they found in a wall while doing renovations at the distillery. It's fantastic value and very different from most Scotch because the Christmas...
I'm not the first person to point out that American oak is used for Scotch too. The main differences between Irish whiskey and Scotch is that the Irish don't let the peat flavour the malt and that the whiskey is usually triple distilled, rather than distilled twice, as is the norm for whisky...
Seems to be a WSU problem then, arrived after the commute back from London and no food on the shelves before the match and bigger queues than I can remember seeing last year. Stayed watching the game until the half time whistle and found the queue to be massive. Poorly trained staff to blame I...
Great place, and the tour guide who took us around the prehistoric sites was from Haywards Heath, had moved up years ago and loved it. Found everyone there to be amazingly friendly, fantastic, a week wasn't long enough.
He collaborated on a musical set in a B&B in Brigthton for the festival a couple of years ago, it was on at the Old Market and had Arthur Darvill (Rory from Dr Who) in it so maybe he likes Brighton? I'm also a big American Music Club fan.
Re: Reading 1994 wasn't that Lou Barlow from Sebadoh ? ???
Always been surprised about this as I think Graze, Drakes and Gingerman are the equal of a lot of 1 stars I've eaten in. I do wonder if it's a more relaxed style of service we like in Brighton that puts the Michelin reviewers off?
Having family oop north I still think we have a decent amount...
Hmm, not sure I agree with that, I think Brighton punches above its weight on decent places to eat.
1 Graze
2 Gingerman
3 Ginger Pig
4 Drakes
5 L'Eglise
6 Indian Summer
7 Chilli Pickle
8 Ginger Dog
9 Dôme
10 Terre a Terre
I'd say any of the above equal London restaurants of equivalent style and...
