If Haaland had stopped when Henderson handled the ball and gone mental, might the officials have acted differently? Maybe VAR thought that as Haaland hadn't reacted, perhaps it wasn't a good goalscoring opportunity?
Excellent idea. We can take beer into the stands in Austria and I've never seen a beer luzzed. There's enough cameras in grounds, so if anyone luzzes a beer they should be banned.
I've seen a number of English referees at CL games in Austria and they always seem to have good games with no shit interference from VAR, which leads me to think that it's the PGMOL implementation that's at fault, not var itself or even English referees.
He was only out-jumped in situations that were not threatening. I couldn't work out if he was lucky, or knew what he was doing.
I thought he and Lamptey controlled their left side attacking options very well.
