Apparently they withdrew some trains today for maintenance. Which makes sense as it certainly couldn't have been done over the last 3 days when they have sat around in the depot doing sweet **** all. Grateful I am not going to London today.
That really is going some. The trouble is when it gets that late, they terminate the train at Crowborough and turn it round back to London. Meaning a lovely wait for those of us who actually want to get the train to where it said it was going.
For what it is worth I played all my junior cricket at St James and a lot of my senior cricket too. Great club and people with top coaching and decent facilities. If you are looking to get into cricket, you could do a lot worse.
Yet another attempt to put a monorail on the sea front in Brighton. Now if it were to extend all the way to the Amex.....

They tried this at Oxted last year. Network Rail (who are worse than Southern) cut down all the trees on the bank around Oxted.
2 weeks later, heavy rain and due to the fact they had removed all the trees, it just washed all the soil away in a huge landslip. Well done all concerned.
That does seem a shame. It would be the sort of event that is right up my street but having already got tickets to the darts, I am going to have to give this a miss. Gutted.
Roy of the ROVERS sort of stuff. The GOLF in class between the two leagues is surely too big. The SMART money says its a no, unless Bloom wants to PORSCHE through a deal to help us appeal to the Asian market.
Ive just spoken to Salman Butt and Mohammed Amir and England win this one after Pakistan come up just short despite looking comfortable to win it with 5 overs to go thanks to some comedy run outs and defensive batting.
