    [Albion] Citeh Away

Seems to have dropped a little. Deal at £76 return from London.

[Albion] Club's Taken It's Eye Off The Ball Shirley?

Agree away games up North are now becoming very difficult, and less enjoyable, let alone much more costly. This is nothing to do with the Albion but just a complete breakdown in the rail service. Avanti West Coast are becoming unusable.

    [Football] Cowdenbeath FC

Enjoy. Well maybe not. The bitter reality. Thanks to those who have supported this.

[Albion] Away fans in home ends

When Schalke played them there were vast numbers in the home end, well Turkish club playing in the Rhur, it was not unexpected. What impressed me was they tunnelled under a fence in freezing temperatures through a thick layer of frozen ground.

    [Albion] Season ticket renewals 25/26

There are some genuine bargains on the web for central London Theatre next month. Third row from the front for Faulty Towers, £20 inc booking fee.

[Film] Horror Films you cannot watch

I once stayed in a house known to have a poltergeist, though I was not informed of this until too late. I woke up in the middle of the night and there was an old woman sat in the chair opposite me. She pointed out that the current owner, a young mum, was a very bad mother and her children were...

[Help] Coping strategies for Donald Trump

I fear he is locked into this role for life, he is not going to risk another election. Or if he does the outcome will be pre-determined via his media mogel puppets. Will he now start setting up family members to succeed? Sadly he has now empowered his followers to go after opponents with...

[Albion] Club cancelling ST due to non-attendance

If I read this correctly you should put the ticket back on the exchange to avoid a black mark if you cannot attend. As I am moving to the Isle of Wight next year I do hope this is the case, or I will have a problem.

    [Football] Cowdenbeath FC

Connection is via my Dad who was bought up in Dunfermline. Pars were away on the day of my Grandad's funeral. Cowden at home. Sadly detained escaping through the graveyard in an effort to get to the game. (Age 11) Hence the connection.

    [Football] Cowdenbeath FC

I believe there are a couple of other fans on this network. If you do have a thing for the Blue Brazil we now have an Independent Supporters Group which you can join via https://www.cowdenbeathiss.com/ There are only 70 of us at the moment but we have created a new income stream for the club...

    [Food] Chinese or Curry

Sadly most currys locally have little to no reflection on the real thing from India. The reason they are slight variations on the same boring flavours is certain venues work from one base sauce, and add ingredients as required.

Had mine on as well :)

[Football] Is it OK to support more than one team?

Yes. I follow a continental team as some of you are aware Schalke 04. (Member of the supporters group). and a Scottish team Cowdenbeath (Shareholder) Each bring me considerable pain and despair, though I did get a ticket for the last time Schalke made the cup final. (5-0 win)

[Albion] Stefanos Tzimas **singed 03/02/25 - joining in Summer**

Unused sub when Schalke played them in August, not that they needed to bolster their attack as our defence duly crumbled in the second half.

[Misc] Who miss their Mum ?

I do miss my dad and the fun he would have had with digital photography, he loved his camera and would spend hours in a home constructed dark room developing his work. He left us with an incredible collection of photos of Afghanistan and Pakistan from his army days in the 30's. He introduced...

[Travel] Assault after the game tonight

They do. In another incident when I was refused boarding, because the game had finished over 2 hours ago?? I disputed this with the RPO who became hysterical and started screaming at me and waving his camera in my face yelling I have got you on film, repeating this fact several times.

[TV] Netflix - What's good to watch?

Again staying off Netflix to Sky Atlantic, this is wonderful, now concluded but 4 whole series to enjoy. One of my favourite ever series enhanced by a Max Richter soundtrack that is pure Italy. https://www.bbc.com/culture/article/20240909-why-my-brilliant-friend-is-one-of-the-best-shows-on-tv

[Albion] How Many Teams Have You Seen The Albion Play Against?

Good question. I have seen the Albion on 138 grounds (League, FA, League and Europa League). Friendlies, Teapot and other oddball tournaments are excluded. No Idea on the number of teams seen. maybe someone will put that stat in Futbology, but it's not a stat I have ever held.
