I'm guessing Gus would want...
Swindon got Greer on a Free last year, so if they don't sell him they won't make a penny.
Selling him with a year left on his contract makes good business sense.
They may feel keeping him and hoping they get promoted could be enough for him to stay, BIG gamble.
I say sell him or we'll get him...
I guess it depends on the other options for the Central Defensive position Gus has. If this is our best shot then we have to make one more effort to sign him.
If we don't get him and we're still interested next season, pick him up on a free!
SIMPLES!!!!!
Sorry if you've already seen this, I've only just seen this myself:

Would you sign him on a free transfer?
The only sensible solution if Palace do go out of business is to leave everything as it is for next season. In other words the Championship will start with 23 teams, League One with 24 and League two with 24 and so on down the non-league ladder. Which means each league will then have an extra...
Maybe we can do what Preston North End have done and have the faces of our chosen heroes as collages (is that the right word?)!
Or maybe have a Brighton Legends Stand, naming each row after a player. i.e. Row Z - Zamora, Row W - Ward and so on?
