Three stores which live off their reputations and price accordingly: Waitrose, Waterstones and Clarks Shoes. Buy my groceries, books and shoes elsewhere at similar quality or same product, but a fraction of their prices.
On Sunday.
Think, for those who are of a certain age - and certainly anyone who is a parent - that grey day in 1996 will have touched us all.
As a Brighton exile, living and working very close to Dunblane at the time, it always remains with me.
Maybe, the ONLY positive to come out of that day...
Obviously we need to pick up as many points as we can, but Wolves could be key to our automatic promotion ambitions.
They are my local club (I live less than a mile from Molineux) and having taken 4 points off us this season, they are currently lying 13th in the table with little to play for...
Thought I would let users know the power of NSC. I posted this random post over two years ago. Yesterday a lovely lady called Helen got in touch with me after searching the internet and finding this post. She was a class mate of mine and a friend of Janet at Victoria Road Infants School way back...
My “realisation” was simple, that with Bowie’s death it meant the entire team of musicians behind Transformer (with the exception of Herbie Flowers) were now dead. I had been so wrapped up in Bowie’s death that I had overlooked this until today.
Mick Ronson was the principal producer and...
I wonder how many other fans of David Bowie or Lou Reed, or even 1970's music in general, are aware of this. Must admit it took a while to sink in.... The tragedy of Lou Reed’s Transformer: https://seagullnic.wordpress.com/2016/01/20/goodnight-legends-goodnight
Can any of my NSC friends help me with this? David Bowie's Death Bed Riddle https://seagullnic.wordpress.com/2016/01/12/david-bowies-death-bed-riddle/
Thanks
I have been an Albion supporter since 1967 and a member of NSC in its various forms since 2001. So I hope Bozza and the duty Mods will allow me this one post:
I left Sussex (Mile Oak, Hove and Lancing) when I was 22 years old.
Other than fleeting visits to relations and my lifelong obsession...

When Carlos Tevez was transferred from Boca to Corinthians for 16 million dollars, it was reported widely ad $US16 million. IE they made a point of stating it was US dollars. Could just be lazy journalism either way with the reports here!
Having stayed in Argentina, they always refer to the Peso as the Dollar. If talking about the US Dollar they always say USD or $US. I am probably wrong, but all the stuff I have read over the past 24 hours only Dollar or $ has been used. Maybe Naylor needs to ask the question with his sources?
Some clarity: The Argentine Peso is known colloquially as the Dollar. Hence they differentiate by calling the US Dollar the US Dollar and not the Dollar!
The current exchange rate is about 14 Pesos (Dollars) to the pound, so the fee being discussed is about £1 million!
Maenpaa 8: Solid. Not at fault for either goal.
Rosenior 7: Liked what I saw. Linked well with March.
Rea 5: Out of position too often. With ball at his feet he looked accomplished.
Dunk 6: Worked his balls off to hold the defence together. But two awful lunging tackles.
Calderon 4: Worked hard...
