Think we should cash in personally. With Duffy, Goldson and Ben White already on the books plus the option to sign another with the money from the sale a win-win. Wouldn’t be surprised if given home grown atatus rules if fee would be £40m plus
Would like to see Hemed retained over signing Ulloa. I understand his frustration given the MoM performance he put in at Newcastle and other top shifts he’s put in. More impact than Ulloa when he’s played and a decent back up for Murray. Need a striker who offers something different along with...
When you consider we’ve only kept a clean sheet with Bruno in the side this year it really underlined the reliance on him and the need to strengthen there.
That said I think we have to accept however good a left or right back you have, if we’re playing a top 7 or 8 side, most of the play will...
Well Liverpool were pretty good, but of perspective is never a bad thing.
I find the soul searching a bit over dramatic. Like we didn’t know we’d get a few 3/4 goal hammerings this season?
Not sure what value there was in playing Locadia today bar appeasing The Bedwetters. Was always going to be tough for the man up top Roda, whoever that was and with his inexperience was made even tougher. Felt like a bit of a hospital pass starting him today.
Now we know last Friday was Mathematically irrelevant following the subsequent results by team around us.
Simple question would you swap Friday night for a win at Old Trafford in the FA cup and a place in the FA Cup Semi Finals?
Good point and nonethelesss he’s usually fairly balanced and very complimenting about Lewis Dunk. But I can’t blame him for having a negative perspective towards us.
If you’re watching Sky through a window of a shop you’re still watching Sky. The point is that Sky pay for exclusive rights to EPL tv coverage so watching a foreign tv channel over the net is therefore breaking the law.
A lack of transparency will lead to conspiracy theories and a loss of trust in the premier league management, which is already pretty low.
I’m not saying let’s share the algorithm they use, but we should be aware this bias exists. If a team finished in the top 6 or 8 it could be simply have...
As I said in my original message I don’t think anyone is surprised. It’s not about a naive assumption of fairness, more the point that if it’s the case we should be made aware that this is the case. Liverpool away on the final day could have been critical and if it’s only the prospect of the...
Personally I agree with the sentiment but it’s the lack of transparency that I don’t like. Fair enough United and Liverpool bring in the millions, but don’t pretend it’s all equal when there clearly is a bias.
Interesting stuff from the Telegraph:
“The Premier League fixture list is engineered to stop the biggest clubs playing each other on the final day of the season, it can be revealed. The top-six teams over a three-year period are also kept apart in the opening round of games and on FA Cup...
Any idea why it is on Wednesday night and not this afternoon? Sort it out Sussex FA!?!?
Not only missing a big bank holiday crowd but clashing with the city game too?
