I’m sure the efforts the recruitment team, albeit fruitless, have made to bring strikers in proved your assumption to be true. The fact is there aren’t that many top strikers around. Murray is better than most outside the top six still, even at 34
So now Murray-fandom has died down a bit, what do we all think? How does he fit into the squad next season?
Personally Murray’s age doesn’t bother me, he’s never been quick and has an intelligence that means could offer something for a few years.
He’s still our best striker and Locadia is...
Would love to see him get a chance to challenge Ryan next year, look at Nick Pope at Burnley as an example of what a number 2 keeper can achieve if patient. That said, expect him to go back to Wigan for another season. Problem is longer you loan him, longer you risk losing him
Considering the amount of public money used to build Wembley (believe I’m correct in saying this was £161m of total spend of £789m) shouldn’t that then be recooped from the FA if they sell it so quickly after building the stadium rather than just pocketing the money for themselves?
Hi all, I’ve started writing an Albion themed blog under the pseudonym the Tweeting Seagull, purely for fun. Let me know what you think.. unless it’s negative, in which case get lost 😉
