this sort of sentiment is the reason I can't be arsed with nsc mostly nowadays. we had a crap atmosphere at withdean almost always. the atmosphere at the goldstone from 81 onwards was crap, except for the north stand. now we have a huge and full ground, that on big match days absolutely rocks...
I often bet on 0-0 half time score in our away games, which is almost betting against us (scoring in the first anyway)
In fact I will be piling in on under 2.5 goals tonight.
Never bet against us though, it would simply be bad juju.
I registered on here in 2001 in deepest South London when Brixton Seagull Junior No 1 was born. I couldn't get to a few games during the run in to our League Championship so NSC was the next best place to be. Tomorrow Junior No 1 and Junior No 2 are leading the teams out at Forest, so give them...
I don't know why the kids don't attend. Sure it's a school night, but it's only 5 or 6 per season, a few late nights isn't going to ruin their education!
I and all my east stand mates bring our kids to eve games. They love it
He was great last night. To be honest I still think there have been a few games where I thought he's been poor and played out of position.
Last season he was still learning a lot and got 20 odd goals, that is an amazing achievement. But this year to hold his own in the Championship and probably...
Let's just bring back Tony Millard, Fred the Argus seller and an old man walking round the perimeter in a long white coat with a wooden banner on a stick. FFS.
I like the girls, so do my kids
If you want ye-olde-fashioned football go watch Burgess Hill reserves instead.

Assulin was closed down very quickly against a very physical side. Can't blame him for that. Razak was meh. It's a squad game now though, and us was right to start with them both.
He is a better 6 yard box poacher than any of our strikers, unlucky to only get one tonight. He also does what murray did last season, defends very well.
in 30 years of going, I've never once felt it was good to boo our own players. FFS Navs has been immense lately, not just a holding player, his strength and passes make us tick. Some people are just too thick to realise we are playing in a higher division against the Carling Cup finalists and...
I've got 50 on us to win at 5.2's. I also had 50 on under 2.5 goals and have cashed out of that at HT, so the heat is off my bank for the 2nd half. Come on Albion!

Thanks to the OP, ignore the snide comments. After seeing us win in '83 and drawing in '91, this takes the gloss off my Anfield record, but still loved the day out. Liverpool showed their considerable class.
Harsh to give anyone really low marks, we were men against boys, and it showed we are far far away from Prem class, prob far away from being top 6 Champ class too.
Brez was really the only one who let us down badly. Restored a slight bit of pride with a good pen stop in front of the kop.
Just back in Brighton, thought we were good first half, but poor defending let us down. Bridcutt will be remebered for his two unlucky OG's but otherwise he was great again, our only Prem class player, except Greer who I thought was surprisingly competent against Carroll.
Real shame about the...
