    [Albion] Amex Stadium name change..

You’re getting warm…. Northern end of ground will see some changes. Things have to be moved out to allow new things to happen.

    [Brighton] New hospital building

The land at Falmer (including our Amex location) was originally kept deliberately undeveloped for use as a new hospital site for Brighton and Hove. However the growth of the two universities since the 70’s meant it was no longer a viable site for a modern hospital with A&E. Redeveloping the...

[News] Wind energy - number one source of energy for first time

Rampion 2 wind turbines will make the ones currently built out there for Rampion 1 look like toys. The next phase will see the turbines be 2.3 times taller if it goes ahead - which I’m sure it will.

[Albion] Carabao Cup Fourth Round: Charlton - 3rd allocation of tickets

No way everyone in the queue now will get ticket in next 20 mins.

[Albion] Carabao Cup Fourth Round: Charlton - 3rd allocation of tickets

Charlton admin not ready for any ticket collections yet. Steward says they were not ready for this and won’t be for at least another 30mins. Queue starting to grow. Nobody got a pick up ticket yet. Chaos impending. All very predictable and avoidable (like being able to collect from Amex...

    [Football] Another one incoming …

With the USD to GBP rate so good for the Yanks at the moment buying clubs over here is more really attractive currently. Their dollar goes a bit further now.

    [Albion] Outside toilets?

When we left the Withdean relocating the portakabin toilet blocks we had to the Amex outside concourse area could have solved the problem. I guess they were owned by the club? That’s all that was needed but I assume they did not look the part for a brand new state of the art modern stadium!

[Travel] Advice sought: Travel from New York to JFK Airport

Pretty sure the yellow taxis operate a fixed fare to the airport from New York? Or at least they did pre covid / fuel price rises.

    [Football] Florian Grillitsch

Sounds like this father (agent) and son double act are going for the mega lifetime pension bonus top up big deal plan. Good luck to them if they can get a club to pay out the agent fees and wages they appear to be after. I suggest they turn their attention to the China league where I’m sure...

[Albion] There is ZERO chance of SIGNING anyone today.

Yes please. Great attacking addition. No idea what he is doing at Burnley. Way better than that.

[Albion] What Amex Improvements Would YOU Like To See Over The Summer?

Think the club could make use of that area behind the east stand where hotel was planned to build a simple low cost big covered bar / street food area with toilets. But like a smaller scale box park. Could be used for other non match day events as well.

    [Brighton] Historic England

Always wondered why the football club never combined with the Greyhound racing track post war like Bristol Rivers and others. The photo shows how much more room there was at the dog track site compared to the restricted size of the Goldstone site for development.

    [Albion] Bennetts Field

I’m surprised the club did not come to a deal 12 years ago to buy the land off Mr Bennett when I’m sure there was a possibility of a sale. I wonder if one key objection from the club would be if it in anyway prevented the club from developing the land next to the proposed development which it...

[Albion] Fight on the Falmer to Brighton train post-match

Or helped by the fact the first train out if Falmer post match was only 4 carriages long. Can’t anyone organise the first few trains to arrive after final whistle to be 7 or 8 carriages thus getting the train queue clearing at peak time? The longer everyone just stood there the worse the...

    [Albion] Spurs - Sat 5th Feb 8pm

I was planning on buying 6 tickets, 3 of whom were non season ticket holders but who go regularly to games. We wanted 6 seats together. Oh well. Watching ITV4 in a Saturday night it is.

    [News] PM's Press Conference - 5PM.

£37 Billion spunked on that project for it to be seemingly ditched right at the point when it might arguably have some benefit.
