[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion vs Newcastle United *** Official Match Thread ***

Is this not the definition of "entitled" Since 2015, both Bournemouth and ourselves have spent 8 seasons in the PL  Why would Bournemouth lose in the first play off round and we wouldn't.........

[Albion] Is FH really performing that badly?

I note that you dodged the question I asked in respect of your view of putting an arbitrary points total from the next 2 games as to it being the trigger for pelters (the reference to nonsense!)

[Albion] Is FH really performing that badly?

I'm enjoying our jousting btw (y) So what arbitrary points total from the next 2 games is your view, as to the trigger for FH getting pelters from NSC  If we get duffed up 5-0 at home by Toon, I'm assuming due to this arbitrary judgement then no pelters will be allowed on NSC until...

[Albion] Is FH really performing that badly?

That's obviously your view, so you are saying 3pts from games at home to 3rd place Toon and away at Wolves, who have won their last six, is your expectation, if not then NSC will give him pelters judged on just 2 games out of 34, where just 1pt from those 2 games will see FH achieve our second...

[Albion] List of players that have gone backwards under the current coach

It's fine to disagree, but what's the alternative? Unfortunately FH is measured on actuals (points, league position etc.) rather than subjective views, such as the PL being a lower standard this season as an example, where plenty of people will have different opinions. If FH is still here next...

[Albion] List of players that have gone backwards under the current coach

I'm not disagreeing with the fact that we have missed an opportunity, it's more that the arguments to substantiate why, just don't add up imho. Granted the Europa League is below standard of previous seasons due to the changes in the Champions League, but still, clubs who are having a far worse...

[Albion] List of players that have gone backwards under the current coach

"in a lower/poor standard PL"....... ........where the sides currently residing in 14th and 16th place respectively, are both in the Semi Finals of the Europa League! The standard right across Europe must be dropping alarmingly :ROFLMAO:

[Albion] List of players that have gone backwards under the current coach

Ok then - Joint second highest points total with 4 games to go in our 7 seasons in the PL

[Albion] List of players that have gone backwards under the current coach

I'm not sure you can state that our standard is at it's lowest for a long time when we've just achieved our joint second highest points total in the PL in our history with a further four games remaining  Whether we should be higher is purely down to expectations based on a number of...

[Albion] List of players that have gone backwards under the current coach

To put a different spin on this £200m that is quoted everywhere by people expecting immediate success, purely based on the spend amount, buying 4 PL ready, established players for £200m would come with a pretty hefty wage bill, that in all probability would blow our wage structure (unfortunately...

[Albion] List of players that have gone backwards under the current coach

That's from the Club's Official Accounts filed with Companies House early in March this year. Depends how you define "stretch goal" ;)

    [Albion] Seriously...

I read somewhere earlier, possibly Dunk on the BBC feed post match, saying they practice scoring in the last minute against the low block, and that wasn't part of the script (hence Dunk directing traffic) 🤣 The screenshot above can best be described in two words - "pure filth" ✔️

[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion vs West Ham United *** Official Match Thread ***

Really? First goal they may have "walked in" but we gave them too much room with a makeshift back 4. Second goal, Bowen's cross was quality and Soucek was Ayari's man (bit of a mismatch) Maybe having Baleba as the holding CM to track runs that led to the two goals might have helped - oh Baleba...

But at least wait until you are 100% sure we got beat, otherwise opinions look very knee jerk and football can sometimes make you look very stupid imho..... By all means have an opinion, after the event, but 3pts doesn't seem to be enough in a lot of peoples eyes.

    [Albion] Lewis Dunk.

I will put my hands in the air for posting in the week that the data/stats are damming in respect of games where Lewis has started and he's had a rough patch for various reasons, but today I thought he was back to his old self. Just shows that people should be judged over a season ;)

[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion vs West Ham United *** Official Match Thread ***

A massive flaw that has seen us lose only 9 (nine) games this season and have matched our second best points tally in our history in the PL with 4 games to go 🙄 And don't give me that nonsense that someone has spaffed £200m up the wall (not FH) and that he's failed to adapt with an injury...

[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion vs West Ham United *** Official Match Thread ***

The "game plan" had to accommodate 50% of our back four being midfielders - it was never going to be perfect FFS. First goal, WH changed their shape with Bowen dropping deeper and wasn't picked up by Ayari, plus we had a CM playing left side CB and Pervis was doing his now "usual". Maybe with...
