[Albion] Reasons To Be Cheerful - Sort Of!

Bournemouth lost at home to Ipswich Fulham drew at home to both Ipswich and Southampton This is NOT a Brighton specific thing, as much as you like to think it is, because it fits your agenda......

[Albion] Reasons To Be Cheerful - Sort Of!

would that also be the same old chestnut of the games where we've got points from losing positions (Man City, Spurs as examples) which you may also be brushing under the carpet.......

[Albion] Ayari - What was he thinking?…

I've always been the one to "take one for the team" 👍 I have my standards and I'm not raising them for anyone ✔️

[Albion] Ayari - What was he thinking?…

I'd like Amanda Holden to cup my genitals before I fall off the perch - I suspect Brighton have a better chance of winning something than this 😜

[Albion] Ayari - What was he thinking?…

Point is enjoy the moment, we are doing incredibly well within our constraints compared to other "bigger" teams. Plenty of smaller clubs have indeed one things and also some bigger ones, but where are they now? Hence the goal of becoming an established EPL team, not a spaff a load of cash to win...

[Albion] Ayari - What was he thinking?…

It turns out that Ayari was actually thinking along the lines of "Pervis, why did you give away a penalty" :ROFLMAO: ;)

[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion vs Newcastle United *** Official Match Thread ***

And to get into the Europa League next season we'd need to finish above one of Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City, Newcastle, Chelsea and Villa. That's without the potential resurgence of Man Utd and Spurs. I'd take one off games against Leipzig, Porto and Roma every day of the week than 38 games in...

[Albion] Ayari - What was he thinking?…

Ok money is the main driver and like it or not, TB's pockets aren't deep enough - however with his business nous, he's got us punching above our weight in terms of revenue, wage bill and other factors. The model is no secret - it's got us to where we are, the only way to move forward is for the...

[Albion] Ayari - What was he thinking?…

"we're aiming to be more than merely to avoid relegation each season" Not according to the Chairman's Statement in the Club Accounts released at the beginning of March where our primary objective is to retain membership of the EPL. This is what happens when Supporter expectations are out of...

[Albion] Do you want us to qualify for the conference league

Why would you not want to achieve something  As I've said on other threads, by winning the Conference League, these days it's an easier route into the Europa League than EPL placing (see Manure and Spuds potentially!)

[Albion] Ayari - What was he thinking?…

So would you be pro TB selling up to the Saudis so they can bankroll players outside of youth, development and patience, as that's the only way in the EPL these days if you want success.......

[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion vs Newcastle United *** Official Match Thread ***

Probably an easier route to qualify for the Europa League than qualifying via PL placing. The way the Europa League and Conference League have been watered down this season due to the ever expanding Champions League, we'd be up against pub teams fecking miles away. If the Europa League does...

[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion vs Newcastle United *** Official Match Thread ***

Just to add we conceded two goals last week down our left hand side - I'd be more concerned about that side rather than playing two right backs for 45 mins each, as our right side was pretty solid last week and our left side wasn't, so what you are suggesting won't automatically result in a...

[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion vs Newcastle United *** Official Match Thread ***

Newcastle have made one change to their first eleven in the last 9 games - that's what consistency gives you, yet you want FH to mix and match over 90 minutes in just the one game???
