It seems to me that programs like this are given extraordinary amounts of publicity to 'tell' us it's great. We started watching it but didn't like it. We watched the second ep cos 'it's supposed to be really good', but it was utter rubbish. Plot holes all over the place, unbelievable story...
Since we'll never see any of them at their best in a run off I think we have to go with the impression they created and, for me, it was Paul Brooker running down the wing at Withdean that stuck in my mind as being the fastest.
Deodorant, but it is increasingly difficult to find (unless you like Lynx!). Nowadays it seems to be all anti perspirants which block up your pores with aluminium!
Fond memories of most of the names mentioned so far. From the modern 'Amex era' Uwe Hunnemeir (Sp?) surely deserves a place as an almost legend but someone who will relatively rapidly be forgotten with the signings and on field progress we've since made
Whole coverage is juvenile amateur hour! Incisive, intelligent questions are obviously banned ....or is just they are set at an appropriate level for their US audience?!
A couple of years ago I bought a Samsung 'Frame' TV. It would not work with the Virgin V6 box. Virgin blamed Samsung and Samsung blamed Virgin. I ended up with a cheaper LG which is OK but doesn't do yellow at all well! Has anyone bought a Samsung recently who has a V6 box? Any problems or works...
