Have to say I thought he was alright and did his job well. Has had an up and down season, looked the best player on the pitch against United but has had some shockers recently. We will get a new CM in the NPC anyway (if we get there) and Schneiderlin will be back as well who is the mutts nuts...
I know it's impossible to guess what would have happened, just that it is mostly our bad start which has meant we are so far behind. Since Adkins has come in, we have been really close.
See then you ruin it for saints fans everywhere with idiotic comments. It's not something I particularly like to see, but it's within the rules of the game.
But quite clearly it was because we didn't expect a result. You are unbeaten at home this season, haven't dropped so much as a point at home in ages and to win is a fantastic result for us. If Plymouth were top of the pile and we had played and beaten them yesterday, the reaction would have been...
If that's what you want to do then fair enough. It's not something I particularly like in football in general but it's within the rules, although some may say it is against the spirit of the game.
Any supposed Brighton fan who would like their team to lose next week is very bizarre in my book. Surely you want your team to win EVERY game? 100 points is a really good achievement for the season and as you don't care about us, why should you be hoping for anything other than a resounding...
TBH you are always going to prefer your own manager. I think Poyet is a decent manager and well played for getting the very best out of your squad. Will be interesting to see how he fares with different styles next year. There is a niggly unpleasant side to Gus which from what I have seen of...
Care to comment on the rest of the post? That comment was mainly referring to the fact that we had many games postponed coupled with the death of our owner and a bad start. Who knows what would have happened had we been breathing down your neck earlier. Doesn't matter anyway really but it would...
What a great post. We have no quarrel with you! I think both managers have said things which supporters of either team would brand as petty or a bit irritating but at the end of the day that's football. Both managers have their ways of doing things and both have been pretty equal this season...
TBH before last year, 99% of saints fans had a soft spot for Albion. I actually quite like you guys, it just seems that both you and Bournemouth have a massive chip on your shoulders. None of us really dislike you. I would rather a southern team does well than a nothern monkey anyday. Friends?
I think it's fairly obvious that we cared about beating you, we want promotion and we just beat the team top of the league who were unbeaten at home. We would have celebrated madly whichever team that was, the reaction was no different because it was Brighton.
I think the don't care about you...
Hello Southampton fan here.
Firstly congratulations on winning the league, I have my own theories as to why you have won it but I don't want to start an argument here. Suffice to say that our owner dying and the poor pre season and games wasted before Adkins arrived did not help us to apply...
