I live in Australia - which many would consider (and is generally) a lovely place. Millions of people (including myself) battle depression regardless of the environment around you. Environment can be a contributor but rarely (if ever) the true cause of this illness.

I guess all fans will interpret the interpretations dependent on their wants.

I'd expect Brighton to be getting larger crowds in the Championship - students, new residents (not many people moving to SE25 !) - probably not much difference in the core support though. Not that it really matters.

At this moment in time ? hmmmmmm In terms of size - there's not much difference between the clubs in truth. Both could push on with successful top flight spells, both could stagnate\dip without.

sorry mate - but thats just bollocks. theres a couple of songs in which brighton get a mention and they are sung maybe once at any given game.

Thats seems a desperate post. The form GM was in for us that year - he would of been banging them in for any half decent team , if you'd managed to keep him, you'd may well be a Premier League team.

It's true our average gate dropped by 65% from 1979 to 1984. Your's dropped by 45% in the same period - 1984 being the very season after your "golden era" of 4 years top flight football . What does that say about your support ? Or maybe football crowds as a whole were on the decline at that...
