2 for me - first one in 83 and play off final in 91.
Wasn't in the country for the 2004 play off final (still feel gutted i had to miss that one)
The cup final replay was my 10th birthday!!!! I still carry the pain in my heart to this day.......................
This is the game where us, the 12th man, have to be at our very best. I did enjoy the build up music, video etc at the begining of the season but now feel that it is stopping us getting the singing going naturally.
Come on everyone lets give it large and loud..........
"Glass is half full" thread.......................Why place such an emphasis on a 30,000 crowd figure. If we were firstly fortunate enough to get in to the pemiership and then secondly get crowds in the region of 29,500+ would anyone be moaning????
Can't help thinking that if we did start to...
I have been saying to my friends for a few weeks that there is no pressure on us - we are in a position that we could only have dreamed of at the begining of the season. However now that is in our own hands I am suddenly feeling nervous!!!
Amazing voice no question - what I can't stand is that Simon Cowell is now the leading authority in singing in this country! This is someone who first appeared on our screens as a contestant in blind date!
Definately seeing an increase in kids wearing the albion kit. My son's under 9 team are now about 60% Albion. The remaining 40% is a mystery to me. They seem to follow their dad's "team" this includes spurs, aresnal, liverpool and Man utd. I get on well with their dads so feel I can't ask...
Was at the game today and a mate I bumped into at half time told me about this LOL!!!! Gutted I didin't see him!
Also Dick Knight was spotted in the away end.
God I love this club soooooo much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just back home from the game - gutted we didin't hang on for all 3 points but would have taken a point at half time so no complaints really. Whole team looked out of sorts (virus?). Navarro wasour best player in first half with Brez comanading his box for most of the game apart form a couple...
Great options........suppose it depends a bit on the Forest front line. Can't remember if they are big lumps or small and nippy? Reckon they were one of the better teams we have seen at the Amex though. Can't wait for it - my first away trip this season.
In the words of father ted "small...far away" are you sure that Bridders wasn't standing on the other side of the pitch and not actually next to Brez?.......if this was the case then maybe Brez is only 2'6" which may explain his reluctance to catch crosses
100% this! Just loved thet fact that we were singing in Spanish.............(sort of!). A few more games like last night and we will all be flamengo dancing down the concourses
