I agree with you, but for those of us old enough to remember it could be pretty dangerous in 70s and 80s. I went to the last 18 home and away games in the 1979 promotion season and you felt relieved to get out of some of the away games alive. Memorable away grounds from those days were the Old...
I don't think that is an accurate assessment of Fury. He has always had good movement and boxing skills for a heavyweight and now Steward has taught him to punch with power he is quite some package if he is in the right shape.
Agree. I have to go to Boston in September and maybe Toronto. Covid meant I don't have to commute anymore and I just think "who can be bothered?", especially as my company only expense Premium Economy to east coast.
37C in Peterborough today and horrible. I have a portable air conditioner in my study which kept it OK, but noisy. Rest of house like an oven. Forecast 40C tomorrow. This weather can do one.
No, as Guinness Boy says it tastes like venison. Dark and gamey, but it can be dry. You need to make sure it is cooked in fat. Cloudberries were interesting; my host proudly told me that they were from the Arctic Circle and an expensive luxury. I didn't really like them, but out of politeness...
I agree with your first point to a degree, but there have to be good intentions or the good works would never happen. Surely we have to praise anything positive in the world we have around us today, rather than always criticise?
As for your second point, yes sometimes it can be the opposite...
I can tell you are smart guy from a lot of what you write on here, so for you to quote one opposite example to disprove a whole theory surprises me. I can only assume it is half in humour?
I don't think Bannon is a Libertarian. He veers more towards "alt-right" nationalism. It is difficult to separate these strands these days, but Rand Paul would be considered more of a true Libertarian. Terms get bandied about and misused these days as it all becomes one big blur.
One man's pseudoscience is another man's science is another man's snake oil. Actually no, it is his eyebrows I like.
On a serious note, do you disagree that they are his achievements or disagree that they are positive achievements?
Like on NSC? :D Some would say "proper free speech" is the domain of Libertarianism (which doesn't make it wrong), but I don't think Cohen is of that ilk.

A good read in what way? I would say the journalist is a typical "entitled" left-winger, who spends his time carping about people who will achieve several times what he will. What a waster.
