Which is really bad. It has to be 100% grass fed to get the health benefits. Some farmers start with grass and switch to grain in the last part before slaughter. Nonsense.

[Music] World's tope ten BASS guitarists of all time

Lou Barlow from Dinosaur Jr. Has to play it like rythm guitar a lot of the time as they are a 3 piece.

[TV] BBC Meat - A threat to our planet?

I like a lot of your thoughtful posts, but cant go along with this one. That article is from 2010, and by someone I have never heard of, who is trying to debunk the opinions of Stephen Hawking and David Attenborough, who are credible sources of opinion. The article also says that the rate of...

[TV] BBC Meat - A threat to our planet?

It is a shame that this debate often ends up in a simplistic "vegan vs badly produced meat" argument. This is often put out there to back up the vegan cause, as there is only one logical winner in that game, but it is not a correct analysis. There are some good, insightful comments on this...

[Misc] HCGS for boys. History of. the School.

How times have changed. We were told off by Adrian Hilton-Dennis for discussing Frith, and told to shut up unless we had hard evidence of these "disgusting rumours". So we were the bad guys and he was protected. As you say he would be in prison now.

Gosh, you have got me thinking now. I am having lunch with two other old boys tomorrow so will try to decipher with them. What years were you there, knocky? If you are the same year as the people we are talking about I think I was one year below you.

I received the longest set of comments I have ever seen from him on one of my history essays. It compared the facial hair of Castlereagh and Canning, and went on to wax lyrical about what John Reynolds' and Malcolm Redford's beards meant about them. It was genius.

What happened? I saw what he did to a friend of mine who was a smart arse, so shudder to think.

Charles Cope I was class of 73-79, so saw most of the school go comprehensive while I was in the upper 6th, although we were allowed to stay grammar. I agree that whatever was wrong with it the quality of teachers went downhill after the change. Must be some stories about Charlie Cope (RIP)? I...

    [Politics] Brexit

Ha - I forgot a bit too. My dear monk would say once you have made the connection then the other stuff naturally flows from that. This is subtly different to focusing on the political stuff without the connection. I think we are agreeing. Looks like we have slowed down the Brexit stuff too.

    [Politics] Brexit

Forgive me for going slightly off Brexit, but shouldn't the purpose of religion to teach people the spiritual laws and truths that allow them to connect to something greater, something metaphysical? That is what the great spiritual teachers tried to tell us, but we build religions to worship...

Great Post Brilliant post, every word of which I agree with (and you cant say that often). Be careful The Clamp will accuse you of being an apologist for the alt-right. :D

    [Politics] Brexit

Good post. I think we actually have to get away from the thought that we have to stick by a narrow referendum result from so long ago. In "Agile" theory there is the expression "pivot without guilt or mercy". It basically means that if a company tries something and finds it not working...

That is not strictly true. He came close in South Thanet, and there were accusations that electoral fraud had robbed him.

    [News] Harvey Proctor

This is not strictly true. I know that the police began work to prosecute Saville on at least one occasion, and were told to drop it from high up. The whole thing is murky, and I not sure we will ever uncover the truth around who was protecting him.

Not sure quite how that relates to articles on meat production, but I am sure your point has merit. x

It certainly needs deeper thought and action than is occurring now. A couple of articles about the real impact of correct red meat production that you may be interested in: https://chriskresser.com/the-real-environmental-impact-of-red-meat-part-1/...
