Well, you had better burn me for a start because I was definitely one of them.
Very, Very Happy to be wrong though and LONG may it continue.
I'll have a large helping of humble pie please.
It would appear I was completely wrong about the appointment of Wendy and right now it is a complete pleasure to be so.
Long may I continue to be wrong.

I would think that if he was even going to BE THERE at halftime but he won't, he'll be managing Whitehawk !
If there was more to him then why does the Argus say that he doesn't come 'armed with a bundle full of FA-approved coaching qualifications' ? Surely after 8 years of non-playing that...
Interesting that you would appear to want it both ways MoH. As of today Chappers would appear to offer a huge heart with bags of passion and determination to do well but little technical insight and absolutely no coaching qualifications.
I seem to recall you berating people on this board for...
Airplane is pretty damn funny as well.
"We need to get him to a hospital as quickly as possible"
"A hospital, what is it ?"
"A big building with sick people in it, but that's not important right now"
As someone who has criticised DK over this issue I feel I must put on record my view that he has been, is and I trust will continue to be a VERY GOOD CHAIRMAN.
However, I reserve the right to disagree with his actions and post those views on here whilst still holding the aforesaid view.
I didn't mean it to sound that way and I agree that he was a very good champion and far from lucky. I was just using that fight to put forward the point that Watson was a better technical boxer, but then as you say Eubank was a fighter, just not the best boxer imo.
Can't speak for Calzaghe because I don't watch anymore.
I think it was Watson, he was outclassing Eubank prior to THAT haymaker. Eubank had a fantastic chin and was a very good counterpuncher but he looked silly whenever he had to go after someone. Benn was a great scrapper and all heart...
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Argus: Give Wendy some support
That's twice you've implied that he would rather we lose. Not a nice accusation for anyone to make......
A mitigating factor yes, but I don't think he comes close to those 3 as an attacking force and for me that's what a world class full back offers ( on top of being able to defend ! ).
Compare Neville to Zambrotta, Cafu & Thuram over the last three world cups and his ability going forward is the difference. All three of those players made a difference at the other end in those tournaments.
Still very good though.
