RDZ got us into Europe, there must be method in the everyone 75 yards from our goal routine.

I just hate it when an outplayed team takes the spoils by simply exploiting the (imho unnecessary) open prairies.
We had two excellent if not world class midfielders who got us in to Europe, aided and abetted by some very good players and few injuries. We had a squad that could play RDZ football.

This season we have lost those 2 , had a lot of injuries and had 3 great players last year (Ferguson, Mitoma, Pervis) not performing to anywhere near the same level. We needed to adjust to deal with the low block but also shut down the defence to see out the match but no adjustment were coming.

Don't get me wrong , the RDZ era has been great and a lot of that is down to his character but there are flaws in his tactics...

If they thought that shit “Glasner all over” was a cute chant, they don’t now. He’s getting slagged off already.
Only a game or two now and he'll be getting slit throat gestures as he makes his way to the corner.

And a game after that, there'll be a clamour for Roy to return to ensure they don't go down.

Opta have had to introduce additional decimal places for them to record a value.

I’d love him to stay, but long before the recent bitching about him from some, I wished for some defensive adjustments.

Not a bad night. Saudis and West Ham both dropping points, and Palace losing. Need to make the most of that by winning tomorrow 🙏
Seems mad considering our season long injury struggles that wins for us and Chelsea tomorrow and Thursday would leave us three points off last season's sixth place. Now Calvert-Lewin's scored, is it Fergie's turn?

A win tomorrow would definitely make it feel like the season is well and truly alive again.

A loss would probably add to the feeling of it petering out with another defeat likely looming on Saturday.

How did Lo Celso and Hojbjerg play? They’ve been particularly destroyed in match player ratings.
They were on for a combined 10 minutes or so. Would ignore the BBC ones if you look at them. Popularity contest. Not like the Match Ratings thread here of course.

A BIG opportunity has been presented to us.

Will we take it or let it slip?

Be amazing if we did take it but doubt many of us would put risk a lot on that bet. Pedro has to start
