Either Stuttgart pay what we want or Deniz will have to come back here or go elsewhere. Perhaps a German club with a few more quid may be interested.
Or perhaps Tony won't soak Stuttgart, and let him leave to a more unchallenging fee, in the interests of everyone.
A miss-firing Undav back in Brighton living miles away from his family won't help anyone.
He was trying to see if he could function, having had distractions back home so problematic (before Christmas last year) that he couldn't function. It wasn't really about 'fighting for his place'.
When Stuttgart came calling, despite that fact Undav had started to fit into our team well, it seemed like a good solution, with proximity lending greater ease of access to whatever it is he has to deal with back home (and I have no idea what this is, nor do I want to know).
I am hoping that whatever shit had been happening for him, things will have moved on well enough for him to resume duties in the stripes. If not, I'm sure other solutions will manifest.

These two things have been well documented his family struggled to settle in England and he wanted to play regular football to improve his chance of getting called into the Germany squad.
Position is straight forward. This season DeZerbi must have told him he would be 4th choice. In general we play 1 up front so understandably Undav prefered to go and get game time. Next season manager has to make same decision as to what 3 he wants. Lets face it Welbeck will be 34 and certainly on recent form sure DeZerbi would have prefered to be bringing Undav on than Ferguson. At the moment attacking options would be far better with Undav than Ferguson

I don't think it's that straightforward. DeSerbi seemed to like him as a player, and once he'd got over whatever non-playing issues he had to deal with in the first half of the season, he was regularly used. Scored a couple of lovely goals, but his main strength seemed to be an instinct for being in the right place at the right time.

18m Euro is the price I've seen quoted a few times (so yes, just over £15m) but apparently that increases if Stuttgart make it into Europe, which they almost certainly will.
I get the impression that there are multiple increase triggers in the buy-out option including appearances, goals, assists and German caps. It looks like the club have protected their asset to an extent. So much so that as others have indicated, if Stuttgart can’t actually afford the fee, there’ll be a handful of German clubs who’ll want to pay even more.
I’m looking forward to seeing Undav against France and Holland in the next week or so. Hopefully he can nail his Euro spot.
If Pedro were fit, there would be forwards owned by little Brighton and Hove Albion in the squads of the two (historically) best Countries in the world (to add to the two Albion wonderkids in the World Champion’s squad). What a time to be alive!

It’s a typo I’m assuming they have an option to buy as the Argus said they do. As in built in to the loan deal. So it’s out of our hands to decide on selling him if there is.

There are cases where an option to buy has been triggered by the club loaning in, but the club loaning out has instead paid compensation and kept the player. No idea if this is possible under the loan deal we have struck, but moving would also depend on Undav being happy with the contract offered by Stuttgart, and we could indicate that an improved contracts is on offer here, should he turn down Stuttgart. It isn't totally out of the clubs hands, but it could cost to keep him.

Pedro staying is a must, Welbeck hasn't re signed yet either and Fergie has lost his scoring form + Fati will go.
Even with Undav, if that's the plan, it would be good to get another bit part wily old campaigner option as a minimum, if we're not going to spend big there (sure I'll get flamed, but do still like Ings!!)
Plus keeper options. Would love to see Rushworth competing, looks class (and Beadle at Massive too) though Luke Williams seems confident Rushworth will be back at Swansea again next season.
Goal scorers and goal stoppers the 2 most important roles, and while neither department is bad, both could have better options/competition to cover form/injury.
