Genuine question. How does being stabbed in the arse and mugged make you a legend ? Seems a nice enough chap BUT legend ?
I think he's a legend, as well as Andy T.O.O. Not many people would still go to the game after being in hospital all night because they were stabbed and robbed in a foreign country. Legends for their dedication to supporting the team.

I know we've done this to death but bloody hell the Amex was like a morgue today. We've simply got to find a way to up the atmosphere consistently and it has to start in the North Stand (but this isn't a blame game). Somehow we need to find a way to merge the two groups of singers. I thought West Ham away was the quietest I've heard this season but today gave it a run for it's money.

Game easily forgotten. In fact I had to look it up to remind myself. Rather dull and lacking goalmouth action at North Stand end 2nd half but we won and never conceded so step in right direction. Thought rather odd and ironic singing "We've scored a goal" when in fact Nottingham scored it for us. Quite a few empty seats all round I don't suppose playing on Mothering Sunday helped.

I think the team didn't really get the fans going though; I always feel both need to take responsibility - unfortunately its often the case unless its a Palace derby for example the fans seem to need the performance to lift for them to join in.

If I was a forward playing in this team I would bring a garden chair, rug and flask of tea as we are so obsessed with f***ing about between the defence and midfield, there is literally no point in me being there!

yes three points, but I honestly felt that was 90 + minutes of my life I won’t get back!

no wonder people are upset with fati and fergie! Poor sods make runs and midfield just turn back to dunk, then goalie.
I don't get to watch many full games (sadly) but that was a bit turgid indeed...far too much faffing about as you say.
Baleba a very bright light in the match, and tried to drive forward when he could.
Watching that I thought...boy we do miss Mitoma.

A good crowd doesn't wait for the players to get them going. Again, it's not a blame game but overall we need to find a way to do better.

I though fergie played well today. Put himself about. Fati made one single decent run that wasn't spotted by Dunk then strolled round with his hands on his hips, constantly let runners go, and got easily muscled off the ball every time he vaguely got anywhere near it.
Yes, I thought Fergie played well, lots of effort.
Fati did seem peripheral for much of the game, but he also regularly gets flattened by the oppo when he receives the ball.

He had two rough challenges and then shrunk and was literally wafted off the ball every time he went near it like a bit of fluff. He's just too weak / half hearted.

Fair enough, I meant generally in games re Fati - yes, he seems to fade after a few flattenings.

lol have we had a lower xG this season 🤣

Nothing changes really about our lack of teeth without Pedro, Mitoma and March - but today was about us not defensively gifting goals to the Opposition as we’ve done constantly recently

Great result today but a hard watch.

I understand we are tired and carrying injuries and lack pace etc - but it was a bit grim really.

I thought Verbruggen, Moder, Baleba and Lamptey did especially well
