Try living 3 hour drive away then you might. This is only the 2nd time I have missed an Albion goal; the previous time was also a Dunk goal against Charlton way back (and I think salvaged a draw). That is a very decent return for scores of hours saved not waiting for MR bus.
I do live three hours away and treasure the time watching the Albion.

It's your choice to go early to avoid queues, but I've never understood it. I accept the delays, the queues, the road closures etc as part of what I deal with to follow the Albion.

A strange game for me. For spells we were brilliant, showing them how to play. We didn't trouble R-Rex Prickford enough though. It could have been a 2-2 at half time. Second half they played much better in spells. Bloody typical to be undone by a 'keeper's hail Mary.

The fear they had as we went into extra time was obvious. A man down but everyone knew which team was the more likely to get the winner.

I hope they go down.

It is simply a matter of priorities; yours are slightly different to mine. I have no problem taking 3 days out to go Marseille, Athens, and Rome, but do like to get home reasonably promptly, not least because it shows willing to my family.

Well some of us have other priorities that should be respected.
I used to live in North Devon until 18 months ago.
That's a good 4 hours plus each way and wouldn't have dreamt of leaving early otherwise what's the point of coming in the first place.
I'm lucky now as I'm only a 2 hour drive away !!

The point is to see 90+ minutes. I go to many away games as well as home, and usually do stay to end of those unless result is foregone conclusion. Horses for courses. I'm glad you and others stay to end so I don't have to leave at 80 minutes to get first wave of MR buses. If you park at MR you would be glad I do, so the first wave of buses return to Amex more quickly than if everyone left at same time. Win-win, what's not to like?

I don't know why we persisted with the same corner routine for just about every corner.
We know they are a big team so some variation could have been better.
Having said that, we headed the ball straight at Pickford about three times in the first half, so a bit more direction would have helped.
Exactly. We could/should have had three goals from our corner routine!

Maybe I wasn’t wrong but I feel nothing for that goal - sorry Dunkie - too little too late. 😥
Ah, that's a shame. I celebrated it more than any of our five at Bramall Lane last week. I hope you feel well enough to enjoy rescuing a point in stoppage time soon. (Next opportunity could well be next week against Fulham...)

For me it was a draw that felt like a win for a few minutes, particularly with it being our legends Groß and Dunk saving our arses. It's back to feeling like a home draw and two points dropped on the staying up tracker now.

Putting individual users to one side, a good point from you about people being kinder here.

Sorry to hear your story, I hope there are ways you can get help.
Thanks. It's all good. The hardest thing is realising you need help and not being ashamed to get it. It never goes away but gets easier to manage.
My issue is making comments personal is uncalled for, as we never know others state of mind. Lots of direct or passive aggression, which doesn't benefit anyone.
I guess it can be hard for some people to understand unless they or their very close family have been through it.
I'm personally a bit of an advocate for promoting it, and realise the smallest thing can send someone over the edge.
I've probably been as guilty as others before, but hope to think age has made me a little wiser!
It's easier to ignore and be kind, rather than taking time to target people. 👍

Edit, if anyone ever needs to talk or get advise, I'm always happy for a pm.

I understand that, for the sake of 15 minutes, your very long Albion day was an hour or more shorter and you got to have a proper evening.

It used to be safe to leave early under Hughton and Potter in the PL. ‘Unfortunately’ RDZ’s created jeopardy right to final whistle

The ignore thread tool (thank you @Bozza) and before that The Bear Pit have been godsends for me … you leave behind an ever decreasing circle of people stuck in a be rude or aggressive time warp.

I hope things work out for you. Perhaps most families are touched by mental ill health at some stage. You are in no way alone here!

I bet all those early leavers are gutted and it serves them right !!!
How can people leave on 81 minutes and miss a total of 18 minutes football today.
Words failed me when I saw them like rats deserting a sinking ship when Billy got his red card.
Rant over !!!!
I left on 90 mins so yes missed our goal but my 9 year old daughter was frozen so I asked her if she wanted to go was halfway between west and north stands when I had the roar but my daughter being happy and not cold is my most important thing

You don't have you justify and validate your decision (just because 11 footballers couldn't combine to hit a cows are with a banjo - despite the cow in question being tied to a fence with all 4 feet set in concrete, and the banjo actually being the size of a double bass (I'm guessing I've over egged this one)).

You do you.

Won’t be going to watch a Sean dyche team play at the Amex again. Anti football, time wasting and hoof ball isn’t worth it.
