Their forum makes delicious reading ATM. These are from yesterday afternoon. I love the pessimism and it is all the sweeter as they are so dull at the moment as well.

Most clubs use ‘keep the faith’ as a sign of supporting their team 🤣 Not to galvanise everyone that their rivals aren’t going to do the unthinkable and win something completely against the odds. Jesus times must be hard there!

You just know they were willing us to be drawn away at City. :ROFLMAO:
Prob all watching the draw massaging everyone’s shoulders and telling eachother to keep the faith… 🤣

All this piss taking of palace, you know what happens next. Also with those players still at fkin afcon and whatever else there is, they could easily turn us over.
So be it .... that's football, but doesn't detract from the position they are in and the position we are in. We've got to stop looking at one game and look at the bigger feast before us, which is delicious, and getting tastier! Please continue taking the piss for the opportunity will be there longer than one fixture. Did they ease off, no, neither should we, make hay whilst the Sun does shine.

They’re now so excited about Olise returning, yet they’ll lose to Sheff Utd tonight and go back into the dark chamber which is supporting Palace

I remember the 4-4 at home but was about 14-15 at the time
What a game that was - the football and defending in general was dreadful from recollection. Was only 14 but recall people attacking Orient players when they went 4-3 up which I’m sure is what Barry Hearn was banging on about getting us kicked out the league for lack of security. Turned out to be an important equaliser in the grand scheme of things

I remember about 20 years ago, the fanzine One More Point (or it might have been Eagle Eye) had a cover advertising for new rivals as we had not had the pleasure of playing you for several years and you seemed to be on a downward spiral. I am sure at the current rate of progress, you may end up putting out a similar advert for new rivals. Perhaps we should draw lots to see who should ask Crawley to be rivals...

Just out of curiosity, if not Palace, who would Brighton consider as their rivals?
Portsmouth probably, but they’ve got their thing with Southampton. Possibly Reading and Bournemouth at times, Chelsea when Potter went there, but nothing enduring.

Palace should win quite easily tonight, they will be buoyed by signing a new RB for £10m and a new CDM in Adam Wharton. Not sure about Munoz, but I liked Wharton, so do feel a bit jealous that they've got him.

The right back is quoted as saying:

"It’s a pleasure for me to be here at such a historic club as Crystal Palace."

Historic is a strange choice of words for Palace, seeing as there is nothing historic about them. I wonder if they've actually been telling him that made up bollocks about them being the oldest club in the world?

They're going with the Russian playbook. Just keep lying until people believe you.

If memory serves me right, their fourth goal came almost immediately after we’d equalised to make it 3-3 and their scorer was giving it some of the old “I can’t hear you” gesture to those of us in the North Stand. Not the smartest move really. Goading a battle hardened set of supporters who’d watched their team claw their way back from 12 points adrift. Turned out tensions ran a little high. Imagine that.

The referee bottled it and awarded us a dubious late penalty if I remember correctly.
