Short career you can’t blame them, wasn’t that long ago a young 19 year old Walcott was the discussion when Sven took him to a World Cup he’s now retired.

Not that long ago? Well, 15 years! And he's had years of PL wages, so he hasn't exactly lost out.

I think he did, in the end as Chelsea refused to sell him, he never really had many other options that didn’t jeopardise his career. Refusing to sign a contract can see you bombed out of the squad in many clubs.

It’s not that they did anything, they left on great terms. I just think that when players choose to move on to other teams then that’s them gone and I prefer not to go back.

I prefer to look forward to the new players coming into the team and it’s been great seeing the younger players getting game time and succeeding. Create new favourite players, rather than bringing back old ones.

A midfield three of Bissouma, Caicedo and Mac Allister is a wet dream for me! I'd also have Colwill in at CB and White in at RB. Gyokores and Trossard would be good rotation options further forward.

That would allow Mac to play much further forward. A dream that midfield but where would Gross play ?
