Yes.

Better for us we don't get to the playoffs anyway, we would get demolished there with this joke of a defense.

Carroll is out of ideas, he needs to retire and we should hire a young offensive minded HC an draft a QBOTF. We have some good pieces on offense, should find someone who can make them into a top 5-10 offense. Then we could get away with an average defense. Can't do it with a bottom 3-5 defense and a very average offense.

Won't happen though so the least what I expect is to get a new DC but ofc nothing will change as this is Carroll's defense after all.
Re Carroll be careful what you wish for.
Think a DC would be good….., just feels a bit like the Giants and Coughlin

I'm very much looking forward to the first day of the off-season. I admire Ron Rivera as a man, he is a good guy but whilst he repaired some of the off-the-field reputation of the Commanders he failed to address the issues on the field. I would not be surprised if the entire staff get the boot.

I'm hoping the FO gets fired too, but I think our GM candidates are still involved in the play offs so we may have to wait for that to happen. All very exciting for Washington fans now, the last vestiges of the Snyder era will be gone from the building and the new era can begin.

Thrilled that my Bills ended up as the 2 seed, wouldn't have believed that possible in mid November.

We have the Steelers coming up Sunday in Buffalo. Weather is supposed to be miserable, windy, snowy, and freezing, I've pushed the boat out and ordered some battery heated socks. Not usually my thing but decades of Bills games have taught me that I can handle most of my body getting cold but not my feet.

Steelers lost Watt for the season, big blow for them, doubt it will be much of a passing game with the wind and Pittsburgh should be able to run well. The Bills open as 9.5 point favourites, hopefully they get the win as being the 2 seed they would be at home the following weekend in the Divisional round.

Really excited for the playoffs this year, this Bills team seems to be gelling at the right time.

It's official Ron is gone from Washington and Harris has already put together the hiring committee for Head of football operations and HC. I kind of hope the head of football operations comes first and that they hire the coach.

Just go Bill....its getting painful to watch now.

Agreed. I know he'd like to beat Shula's all-time record, but his Superbowl record alone means his place in history is assured. Don't go anywhere else, Bill, retire now. Also he's what, 72 now? I don't want him inducted into the Hall of Fame posthumously.

100%. I dont have much love for him or the Patriots - but its time to just head off into the sunset, get the rocking chair out onto the veranda, and enjoy spending time with the family. Kraft can then get Vrabel in as HC (as its all gone a bit stale over in Nashville)....& Pats fans would be happy to get a NE legend back who could get them on the right track again. Job done.

Seems like one piece of that puzzle might be falling into place, with the Titans firing Vrabel. No doubt expecting an approach from New England and with him and the GM they hired last summer, Ran Carthon, reportedly not being on the best of terms it's not a huge surprise. Seemingly didn't want to bother with any protracted trade discussions with NE and have fired him to get things rolling in their building ASAP.

I know we could do worse without him but still think it was the right decision. That I didn't really expect especially since yesterday PC was still talking how he plans to return.

This man is a legend and fans should be forever grateful to him for what he's done but it was time for a change. Thanks for everything, Pete.

As for his successor I'm pretty sure it will be Dan Quinn. Wouldn't be my prefered choice but clearly a good coach who knows the team and also a capable leader. Should bring some fresh ideas for defense and hopefully will hire a quality OC and draft a good QB.

John Schneider should definitely stay as a GM. No news about him anyway so I assume that's the case.

Jags, Bears and Vikings confirmed for London games in 2024

I'm curious who we'll play. Excited for it and definitely coming back for it!
Best case scenario for each game in terms of potential matchups for the Spurs games IMO:

Lions/Rams/Seahawks/Packers @ Bears
49ers/Lions/Texans/Colts @ Vikings

Would not be shocked though if the NFL pull what they did this season again and have the Jags play as a visiting and home team, given they have a trip to the Bears on their schedule. Will be renewing my season ticket at Spurs regardless, as it's always two of the best Sundays of the year taking in the atmosphere around the stadium. Unlikely to do the Jags Wembley as I hate the experience of going to that Stadium as a fan.

Hoping to finally plan my trip to Vegas and see a Raiders home game this year, which has been something I've been talking about since pre-COVID but not found the right time to book in. If the time of year I'm considering syncs up with our away game in New Orleans, even better so I can do that game too and see a few more of the tourist sites I didn't get to do when I was in NOLA in 2018 for Wrestlemania.

Said exactly the same re Jags
Re Wembley, couldn’t agree more.

Wonder if divisional rivals might be ruled out of the options (just a feeling)
