David Soul has died at the age of 80 his wife said.

No doubt many will have enjoyed watching 'Hutch' in Starsky & Hutch in the 70s, with millions of others, which ensured a cross over career as a singer.

Wasn’t he based over here for a stint? I seem to remember him campaigning for Martin Bell against those revolting Hamilton creatures in the 1997 election.

RIP Hutch. Didn’t he have a stint in Casualty or Holby City for a while?

Liked him as a rogue Cop in the Dirty Harry movie, Magnum Force, I think it was.

loved Starskey and Hutch too. Sad loss.
