I've been getting smarters gold but I think the bloke who sorted it out for me is taking the piss.

If anyone is available and can pm me so I can get a service recommended by them up and running for today I would be very grateful.

Have a firestick with a VPN running.

I could also do with the help please 🙂. Have got to the bit where I seem to have IPTV on smarters but can't see how I pay subs and where the actual stream comes from?

Smarters is just an app used by many IPTV providers. You will need to contact someone to arrange an account and get login details.

We're considering buying a Firestick 4k max. Is it worth purchasing one if we already have a 4k TV - will the picture quality be any better than just watching through the tv? Find BBC iplayer especially not great quality considering my tv is supposed to be 4k - even the uhd programmes! Motd seems anything but HD. Netflix etc generally much better quality.

I would suggest buying an Nvidia Shield TV device. Much better than a Firestick and has excellent upscaling so you can watch HD or even SD on 4K screens comfortably.
I own two Shield TVs and a Shield pro.

Great - thanks for the heads up about nvidia! Had never heard of it. I'm still unsure as to why having a streaming stick makes the picture quality better. Shouldn't 4k smart tvs stream at 4k (when possible) regardless!?

Many of the IPTV providers do not generally supply 4K streams despite saying that they do.
4k requires more higher speeds.
Ok, the Shield by Nvidia is certainly more expensive than a Firestick but you will not regret it.

Ah ok, thanks. So definitely worth investing in an nvidia if looking to maximise picture quality/sound. You'd say worth the extra £ over a firestick 4k max?

Does anyone experience constant buffering? Would this be to do with the fiestick or broadband speed?
Is there anyway to record IPTV?

Anyone using the new Tivi Mate app? Easily the best app I've used in the 4 years I've used IPTV. Been faultless so far, absolutely rapid.

Also heard great things about the Nvidia pro, not sure I can justify the price personally though when Amazon often drop the prices of the cubes to about £60. Are they that much better?

My FireStick used to stream flawlessly. For the last couple of weeks though, after a couple of minutes it buffers and will not stop unless you change the channel. You only have to flip it right back and it works for another couple of minutes.

I'm using NordVPN and suspect it may be the culprit. Anyone else experiencing something similar? If not, which VPN are you using?

I'd firstly try clearing the cache on your IPTV app, then try running without the VPN active for a while.

You'll probably find, however, that neither of these work and it's just poor service from your provider.
