On a related note I thought the singing in the first half was great - so much better than usual and loudest game I can remember before that was probably the Man City tie at the end of last season. Bravo.
Way way too loud, brash sound and drowns out the build up and any chance to sing. Reminded me of a trip to Yankee stadium some time back where the crowd only sang when the song was played on the PA and they were told to sing. Is that where we’re headed?
How’s about we rob that tune from “Everton, never stop talking” or whatever gibberish it is and sing “Ferguson, never stops scoring. #clap #clap #clap”. Our star striker deserves his own song!
The end of season programme mentioned that they were investing in an upgraded PA system over the summer, so it might be they’ve put in a new PA system and it’s crap and that’s what everyone’s noticed. Certainly found it a little too loud/distorted at times, although I did enjoy the side effect...
How long in the premier league before we get a nice tram like they have in Manchester? Surely with all the university high rises on lewes road and the Amex at the end a route from old Steine to the Amex would be in demand most days of the week and well used.
Was it just me or are the trains getting worse? Seriously when is someone going to drop an investment and give us some transport options befitting of the popularity of match day!
Pep Guardiola has compared Brighton to football as restaurant El Bulli was to food (it was a renowned Michelin starred restaurant and regarded as the best restaurant in the world).
“They are the best in the world at this”
Surely it doesn’t get better than this? Other than beating Man City...
I agree. A bunch on the train singing “have you ever seen Palace in Milan?”. Let’s look upwards not downwards. A notable distinction of us over other clubs is the respect we’ve shown other fans this year and the add to the atmos as a result - eg Grimsby Town even though their fans were scuts...
