I don’t post much on NSC, but this is an inspiring thread, and a reminder both of how decent people are in general and also for those of us living with depression that we definitely are not alone.
I’m just coming out of my second significant bout of depression in the last few years, and while...
This is very interesting, wondered if it might just be some form of restructuring, but it would appear not - there could be trouble ahead...
In some cases, striking off a company is not a voluntary procedure, but something instigated by Companies House. The Companies Act 2006 (S1000) requires...
We got some of the usual stick off the Derby fans in the first half for being quiet, but it was brilliant how we reacted early in that second half, as if by getting behind the team we might help to alleviate some of the pressure. Best Amex reaction (other than Burnley) I've experienced - for...
Went online to buy our tickets on Saturday evening, to find that only 3 of our 4 tickets appeared as reserved tickets in my Friends and Family list. Bought those and email arrived within 2 mins with the Print at Home tickets. Logged back in on my son's ticket and bought the remaining ticket -...
..."I’m going to go home and give my girlfriend a hug. I've not seen her much recently."
Presumably he walks in the door and she says "Nathan Jones, you've been gone too long"....
Unlike spence (who doesn't seem prepared to read something before deciding to disagree with it...) I agree with large parts of this - there's a significant, vocal minority of fans who seem to relish taking a very negative approach to all that the club does. I have stayed away from NSC for some...
We're a family of 6, so people carrier was the only option. Had an old model Galaxy for years, which was fine - had loads of space, took a battering over the years, but ended up with increasingly expensive service costs.
So got a new model Seat Alhambra 6 months ago and love it, doesn't feel...
This is a fantastic thread to wake up to - I now have John Grant on in the background (brilliant thus far) and a huge Spotify pile up to explore.
Matthew E. White and Charles Bradley both get votes from me.
One I've not seen mentioned here is the new Suede album, Bloodsports - not have been a...
Read this on the BBC website and thought it was rubbish to start with then read again and understood - how nuts is the championship that this is the case with only 2 games to go...?
"Leeds are one of the three teams mathematically certain of staying put in the Championship next season"
I'm a Liverpool fan but not a Suarez apologist - brilliant player with huge problems which he and the club need to deal with, and no complaints about the ban. I also get why the the club stand by him despite the media hysteria - it's completely consistent with other situations (Cantona, Tevez...
Speechless on 2 counts. Firstly that anyone would single out a wheelchair to nick and then dump - scum. And secondly that you have to leave the wheelchair outside the ground - i though the club made a big play of being supportive of its fans who lack mobility, hopefully given the positive...
Had precisely the same conversation with my son at that point in the game. Seemed bleedin' obvious to me too, particularly when you think about how Gus eased him into the side after injury last season.
Not convinced we've really worked out how to effectively hold onto a single goal lead in...
We aim for 6pm to 6.15pm and normally end up around zone D about 3/4 of the way up the hill. Wouldn't want to leave it much later than that. Also the approach roads tend to be busier than for Saturday games cos its the tail end of rush hour.
