Chances are far easier to create when you don't let every team get 11 men behind the ball. Slow, ponderous build up with 30 passes made prior to crossing the half way line isn't going to get you far. Statistically it looks great having so much possession but its non threatening.

The build up play is so slow and ponderous that we always allow 11 men To get behind the ball. Space becomes a premium and we find it hard to score. All very well having the ball for long periods.
Dont agree.
We just dont have the creative skills/personnel to put the ball in the net. without singling players out our midfield must be the lowest scoring in the league. Goals have to come from these players too.
