Any club wanting Tariq will have to bid a ridiculous offer we can’t refuse. And I’m talking well over £50m.

He is a generational talent. And potentially world class in my opinion. As much as I love Ben White, Lamptey is a level above.

Unless he was having a very purple patch in those games for us I'd argue he is World class.

Not another one.

Can we not sell the whole squad this summer please ?

No doubt Sanchez to go as well will be the next piece of joy we are subjected to.

It's no different to any other summer transfer window, the amount of posts on NSC claiming that just about every member of our playing squad is about to be sold, with others about to come in and replace them.

In reality of course, it turns out nothing like that.

Surely he has to play international level and Champions League before we can be sure he’s world class.

This is true, of course.
World Class, too early to say.
One of the best in the World in his position? I think absolutely yes.

Like white last summer Lamptey needs another season with us to maximise the potential transfer fee we can get for him. For that reason I think the club will just bat this one away

The way to become a big(ger) club or be like Leicester is by selling the likes of White and Bissouma - when the time and the price is right. That's the sustainability and development plan after all. Leicester sold Kante and Maguire to get where they are today.

When the time is right? Leicester had just won the ****ing Premier League. We are on the brink of something special and should keep all our gems for a season at least.

Yep. So excited to see him back in action and hopefully in the flesh.

I don't think it's been fully appreciated quite how much of a loss he and March have been to us and the way we play this season. Even greater credit to Potter for the job he's done this season. For me it's our equivalent of Liverpool losing VVD and Gomez which we've had to hear so much about this season.

March arguably more IMO, he was outstanding prior to injury

Friendly reminder that there is no such thing as "competition for the right wing back spot" when Lamptey is 100% fit.

The 3rd angle of that Saint Maximam challenge after a minute really suggests that was never a pen. If March against Villa was overturned I’m very surprised that one wasn’t.

Ffs it’s becoming another annoying yet. I’m resigned to losing 1 or 2 ie Biss and / or White this Summer but with all our talent I’d like us to have a decent crack at mid-table or even top 10 I really would…!

Would you rather we had players that only championship and league 1 and 2 clubs were interested in?
No. That would be silly and mean relegation.

But I don't want more than 2 of our top stars sold this window.

We can never improve by totally dismantling the team too regularly.

Agreed. Only way that changes is if we think his injury is actually a whole lot worse than thought and we can offload a crock onto someone else's wages.

There's no way The Big Boss Man says 'I'm looking at Top 10' then sells the squad and manager down the river.

I still reckon Biss will go, but the moment that happens the drawbridge will be pulled up and the squad is good to go.
