Henrik Larsson was far too good for Brighton as well playing in Scotland. He only went on to play for Barcelona, winning a champions league winners medal and a successful loan spell at Man Utd. Also a prolific scorer for Sweden.
I think Edouard might be worth a punt.

A few of us have requested we sign Edouard before.

Would definitely feel he’s worth a punt, that’s the market we’re in. But especially worth a gamble for that sort of price.

Would be surprised if there’s not other clubs interested though.

I've got a couple of mates who are way more attractive than I am, (not especially hard, but they're good looking fellas).

This reminds me of I used to go to nightclubs with them .... thinking i'll do my best to get stuck in, but blatantly I don't have a chance and this is likely to turn out to be another fairly depressing experience

If we signed him, I’d put money on us being top half next season. As someone who is usually an arch pessimist about our chances of even holding onto a 3-0 lead in stoppage time, that’s saying something :lolol:

Imagine...just imagine we sell Connolly, Loan out Zeqiri and bring in Edouard and Nketiah, sign Welbeck and keep Maupay. That would be quite the improvement to the forward line! Dreamland I know!

Maybe the loaning of Duffy was part of a masterplan to sell the club to Edouard and encourage him to join us rather than other interested clubs,

Looks impressive in that reel, but then AJ and Locadia did too. Big fella with good ball control and seemed to know where the net is.

No idea of the SPL but I assume its a step up over the Dutch and Belgique leagues? About Championship level?

Yes, Rodgers got him in on loan Aug 17 and then signed perminant in June 18. Rodgers left Feb 2019.

Hugely wanted him last Summer where the talk was £25mil plus. Not been as prolific this season. Would snap him for £20mil let alone £15mil. This signing and possibly left wing back competition and we’ll be looking so good. Then it depends on who we lose.
