All footballers make mistakes be it a mistimed pass, poor intercept or catching an opponent whilst going for the ball, the problem is that with keepers and defenders a small mistake is often followed up with a goal scored. You can see our back line have total trust and faith in him, just look at some of the passes to him from a few feet out that to be honest make us crap ourselves but he handles them well. He will be Spain's no1, he doesn't appear to flap or panic like Maty used to. I trust him.
So what are your arguments? Why is Rob not "filling you with confidence"?

As an aside Sanchez uses his feet like a quality outfield player. Some of the back and side passes he gets from the defenders shows a massive amount of confidence in him.

Freedom to give your own opinion is fine, its just a very odd opinion. Sanchez has been such an obvious improvement on Ryan, and has looked calm and confident in every game he's played. Every player can improve but there is not a single area of his game I would describe as weak. If you're opinion is genuine, what do you consider his weaknesses?
