Just seen James Murphy's playing for them.

Now there's a player I'd forgotten about

Thanks

Sorry for getting the name wrong! Old age

Back in the Brian Horton era?

It was close enough :)

Yeah in the Horton era. I think he actually played one friendly game against Lewes at the dripping pan.

In the same game, I had a friend who was playing for Lewes at the time, and he did that really obnoxious thing where someone shouts "megs" before promptly nutmegging you. He did it to the Albion's Danny Mills, right in front of the Albion bench. Horton went mad and pulled Mills off about 2 minutes later.

Just a thought - is this some sort of Cunning Plan to circumvent the number of players we can have out on loan after next season?
What so Hibs sign the players (using our money) , but are obligated to sell them onto us if we choose?

It's plausible

Don't make me come round there and slap the back of your legs.

No idea how it would work - just trying to work out a possible reason why we'd want to do something like this. On the face of it, there doesn't seem much point - as others have said, what's wring with just lending them players when it looks beneficial to both clubs.

Yes to the 'cunning plan' question but the motive is actually to offload Locadia, Ali-J & Andone on some unsuspecting jocks rather than circumvent the loan regulations.

IF - and it's a big if bearing in mind Scottish football doesn't have much money at all - IF Hibs could/would pay their wages, I'd do the proverbial driving them there myself!

Love Hibs. Been to Easter Road a few times and followed them away, and abroad.

Always welcomed. Great atmosphere and feels like a proper club.

Not a whiff of sectarianism. Hibs fans are proud of where they're from (Leith/east Edinburgh), not of any religion.

Fingers cross this link happens.

great goal...... just move the ball quick and run...

I'll go so far as to say it's my favourite 'normal' goal.

Sure it's no Storer, Ali J, Stuart Munday, Skalak, Virgo etc unfortunately the list isn't endless.

But for regular goals in regular games that, and one from Terry Connor at Hull, for me is elevated above 95% of all the goals I've witnessed. (If any of that makes sense)

Fine set of fans aren’t they? Beat Rangers in the Scottish Cup Final. Invade the pitch, attack Rangers players, then have a go at Rangers fans, then stop the presentation of the cup by being complete knobheads, but it’s okay because they sing a nice song.

I don't condone the violence but i would guess there were 50k singing and I doubt there were 50k attacking the Rangers fans & players. My experience and that includes many Brighton games is it's not the ones singing you have to worry about.

I was born just 7 miles away from Edinburgh. Only ever went once to Easter Road to watch a game....versus Rangers...! The Rangers supporters wrecked Princess Street before the game. A long long time ago , but they are a frightening mob.

Will be great, if we can link up with Hibs.
