I’d be delighted if we could sign Stephy Mavididi from Montpellier. Can play LW, RW and CF. He fits the bill as he’s 22 and English and has 1 in 3 this season. Ideal replacement for Alireza.

I was commenting on your maths. If we have it completely wrong (100%) then perhaps clubs below us are more than 110% wrong. It was a joke.

I really shouldn't have to be explaining this sort of stuff to a grown man.
No doubting he is a threat but he is phenomenally lazy and imobile. I cant see him pressing anything effectively, even flowers.

Mobility and work rate are critical in this team.

Milik of Napoli and Marenga of Porto contracts are up in July .

Both are quality experienced strikers and no doubt lots of Premier league clubs will be keeping tabs on them .

If we stay up then I see no reason why we shouldn't be one of those clubs trying to sign one of these , Milik could be tempted knowing we have given Moder the chance along with the developing Karbownik.

Milik is on an 18 month loan with a 8m option to buy inc 4 m in performance clauses potentially 12m to Napoli

Milik is looking for north of £100k a week apparently hence no deal at Napoli. Even on a free that's a bit strong.

Signing on bonus with a lower basic to keep the structure, although will be an ask attracting this calibre of player

But I did NOT say we got it completely wrong. You need to learn to read before you make more of a fool of yourself. Do the maths [emoji1782]

All this talk about signing marquee, (my fave word at the moment) players for silly money, well it aint gonna happen this season. No one is going to be signing players for mega bucks in this economic climate, with a few noatbale exceptions of course.

I would be amazed if the normal suspects DON’T splash the cash

No sure if mentioned already (as not looked through whole thread), but I'd like us to go after Lookman (even a loan as well would be good).... I wanted him when he was at Charlton, when he was at Everton and he's shown this season he's a great player.... he's quite a versatile front option and would be good competition for Trossard.

Good player. But NOT a priority, Shirley!?

Mmmmmn.....no, no we aren't.

Lamptey is 20 and had made one appearance for Chelsea when we signed him
Abraham is 23, has apeared 56 times for Chelsea and has scored 21 goals for them. He also has 6 England caps.

Abraham won't be taking his inspiration from Lamptey, I would have thought. Feel free to bounce me when the willowy frontman is photod holding aloft his stripey shirt at the end of May

Out of interest, when WOULD you consider us to be 'established' at PL level?

Myron Boadu fits the bill. Good link up play, strong, quick, Recent Dutch international, 20 years old, outperforming his XG.

but... It's in the Netherlands for AZ Alkmaar...

If I may offer an opinion here.

I would say we would be established after a couple of seasons of mid table finishes with no fear of relegation.

I'd be happier if we could keep Bissouma, White, Lamptey, Dunk, Webster, Sanchez etc. if it meant not signing any new players.

And another season of struggle...
